Welcome to the new owner Jason and his team who took over from Eric in 2014. Love the steamed Gow Gees. Great to sit and relax without being hurried or ignored. Some pricing is up and some down. Easy parking. I will definitely be returning on a regular basis.
Alas, Peter has retired and sold the 'Terrace'. We are long time customers of Noble Terrace (over 20 years!) and we kept going when the new owners took over, sorry guys it is just not the same, food quality has dropped and is nothing like the original standard held for so many years by Peter Mann. We have moved on to another for our Chinese experience.
$8 for corkage in the burbs is just too pricey. Food was ok but rather bland. Also 2 lamb pancakes for $12 is pretty outrageous especially when on the takeaway menu it $20 for 6 pancakes. A disappointing experience.
We went here with a large group on Friday night and our table of 10 was squeezed into a table that should have been for 6, food was excellent easily the nicest Chinese food I have eaten in a long time, corkage at $8 per bottle is too pricey especially when they do not give you the correct glass for your drink, red wine glasses for everything.
I love Noble Terrace! The best Chinese food I have personally had. I've eaten there since I was a kid with my family, now 20 years later and I still think it is the best chinese food ever. I now live in Melbourne and can't wait to visit Sydney again, as there is nothing as good as the Noble Terrace in Melbourne. The food is awesome, the owner Peter is a funny and friendly guy. The atmosphere of the place is friendly and not over crowded.
