32 of us had our work dinner last night and had a wonderful time there. Had the $55 banquet set, plus the drinks, it cost us about $85 per head, happy with it, when compared to other venues we'd previously been to. This was actually cheaper and more fun. Fresh food & experienced staff, our mess were promptly cleaned up, very well managed. I really loved seeing eggs hitting my colleague’s head. Will surely be bringing those I hate there again, and also the loved ones. Thumbs up.

Food is really average. Order the seafood set, 50+ per person, definitely not worth it. When the chef is cooking, they don't even turn on the hob, smell like teppanyaki after the dinner.

Do ask if the restaurant has any big group booking, if they do, do not go. It is so noisy that you can't even carry a conversation with the one next to you, especially when the chef demonstrating his skills by throwing rice or egg to the customer bowl (they have to stand up from their seat and stand a distance from the table) and people were screaming and laughing and cheering about it!

Not sure if the customer requested the chef to do it or it is part of the dining experience, but seriously throwing rice to a bowl from a distance to a customer! The poor waitress just have to keep sweeping the floor, every time the show end for a customer. Sweeping the floor while we were dining behind, definitely a big no!

We just have to quickly finish our dinner as the whole dining environment is just so hard to bear and uncomfortable. Also, the waitress is really not very experienced and unorganised, we have been asked to move around for 3 times, once even while we were eating!

Did I complain at the end? No. Why? Because I will never go back.

    Response from Management:
Thanks "Wdw9221" for sharing your valuable experience here. We take every feedback seriously as we believe that no matter what the nature of the feedback is, it always help us to improve and do better. Thank You.

Our place is fitted with a commercial grade ventilation system that takes smoke up all the way to the roof of the building, which is a must & must always be "ON" when cooking begins. However, when cooking is at its peak & smoke at its mass, like all other commercial kitchens, you might notice that lots of smoke suddenly spurs out around the hot grill/stoves, but it then is quickly cleared & sucked out by the hoods above each grill. Without the vent we will inhale smoke or get carbon dioxide poisoning (which is especially important for our own staff as we are here the most).

We have lots of large groups here (hens, birthday, anniversary, corporate functions & …), as our place is specially designed and geared for those purposes. Almost all large group customers specially request us to do the usual Teppanyaki tricks and are happy with the mess it creates. They love the excitement, the laughter & the atmosphere, as that is Teppanyaki spirit. However some customers may just want a simple one which we certainly respect. To ensure the comfort & safety of the all customers, we endeavour to clean up any spills promptly, to avoid anyone from slipping over.
Thanks for your kind words toward us & our waitresses. However that is our duty, we are trained & paid to do it, or it will make our job too easy with fewer colleagues around.

Our internal discussion and audit on your feedback reviewed that your group was in fact seated at three locations. The first move was related to another table that better fits your group; we made it known to you and asked if you would prefer it and you chose to move there. The another move was actually a request by you, even though, we do not normally like customers to change tables, as it affects our scheduled seating plan and the comfort of other customers, our staff will also be tied up with the moves, however the waitress who looked after your group were trying to please you.

We sincerely hope that we have addressed each of your concerns here, and please let us know if you have other suggestions as we value them.

The food was pretty good, a bit small banquet for the 55 dollars each and large sake at 14 dollars and beer at 8 overpriced. Service was very slow. Probably would not go again.

Teppanyaki was never at the top of my list but a group of us wanted to celebrate and we thought we might try this place out as it seemed new and the reviews were good. We ordered the set menu which included prawns, fish, wagyu plus a whole lot of vegetables, rice and all sorts. The seafood was fresh and the beef was cooked to order right in front!

Overall the food and drink were fantastic and the service seemed genuinely warm. Nothing to fault and would definitely go back for a special occasion!

I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was So Great. It was my sisters birthday, and she was new to Teppanyaki and a little apprehensive, but loved it. It was also my nieces first time and the staff were so lovely to her. It was so much fun, will def go back!

Set menu was delicious! Especially the steak, perfectly cooked and so tender, melted in my mouth. Genuinely friendly chef and faultless service. Will definitely be returning very soon!
