Antico Wood Fire Pizza has become a regular haunt for both myself and my circle of friends. Top value meals and such friendly people. Love the garlic bread, too. No one makes a similar one in Sydney. Sometimes gets too busy so we have to wait a bit longer. But who cares, it's a pleasant Europeanish style place, most enjoyable. I actually eat there once a week, now, basically :-).
Not the best place - my family and I went there on Saturday night wasn't impressed at all, not enough staff for the amount of people there although the girls serving we're lovely and handled it well. Food wasn't anything special I could have easily made the pasta at home. Pizza toppings didn't look or taste fresh at all. Not to mention how long it took for the meals to arrive and the pizza and pasta were not brought out all together. Oh and I had to ask the waitress for a new fork because there was left over food stuck on y one. Wasn't happy will not be returning in a hurry.
Such a cute little place with best pizza and such a warm people who are always there for you to help you. Great value for your money with their new all you can eat promotion. Again best pizza is in town.
Slow service. Got mains before entree and tried to flag down waitress for more drinks with no success. Once we got our meals we never saw another staff member! Had better pizza from pizza hut. Chicken pizza hardly had any chicken on it. And once our kids were gathered outside looking at the cow stools we didn't appreciate a staff member barking at them to move out of the way! Won't be back again.
Have been to Antico approx 3 times and have been happy with our visit. Service was a little slow at times but not overly bad. Pizza and pasta were good and the room upstairs is not a bad place for a good quiet meal and chat. Worth a visit and will go back again.
My Family and I went there 2 nights ago it was just Beautiful! The staff was very welcoming, We were seated just in front of the kitchen area my kids loved watching the chefs (boys) making the pizza the food was Amazing best pizza and Pasta I have had and the prices were great as well!
The waittress were just lovely, very well presented always making sure we were ok! Definitely worth going!
We came here on a Friday night at 9 pm. It wasn't busy at the time, a couple of tables were finishing up their meals. We were placed at a table out the back without menus. Waited 15 minutes before we finally caught the attention of a waitress.
They didn't have any ice for the ice bucket (what the?) and we had to wait a long time for wine glasses. Again, it took a long time to get service so we could order. Upon ordering a pasta dish we were told that the chef wasn't in that night. They really should tell people this before they start looking at the menu and decide on a dish.
Food took a long time to come and was disappointing for the price. The gourmet pizza was definitely not the best I have had. Overall, this was the first and last time I will be coming here. My sister has had two bad experiences at the same place, so there is definitely something wrong with how they are running it. There are so many Italian places in Campbelltown that put this place to shame. Save your time and money!
Went there last saturday with the family. As soon as we walked in the waitress looked miserable. Didn't even greet us. I wasn't offered or asked if we were dining in or take away. So decided to get take away instead coz they were supposed to be fully booked. Stood there for nearly an hour waiting for our pizza which wasn't that good. The place was nice but service is shocking. They have to learn customer service.
Went there last night as mum had always wanted to go there. Wasn't expecting anything flash given the reviews on this site. It's definitely not as bad as people are making out. The young waitresses were friendly and accommodating. We sat downstairs and the kitchen staff were all fine.
The food was all good. Same types of pizzas you get elsewhere in the area, the toppings were fine, and on a nice soft base, and a decent amount of cheese on top. The garlic prawns were in a tasty tomato sauce, and it was great to mop up with some of the pizza base. We came with our own wine and there was no problem with that, or providing us with tap water.
The only comment would be to have a slightly thinner base, apart from that it was all good.
