Came here for dinner, had the charcuterie plate which had a liver parfait that was absolutely divine! The terrine was beautiful also. Ordered the beef bourguinon and the steak (forgot which one). Unfortunately, I was quite full by the time the mains had come out, but managed to enjoy some of it, the flavours were amaze and going by my friends empty plate they enjoyed their main too.

Would love to come back to try the other dishes here! Service was amazing and had a great intimate feeling about it, only thing I can criticise is that the tables may be a little too close for comfort.

Having tried middle eastern/lebanese food at other states, I have to say that I was quite let down with what The Prophet had to offer. I do not understand why you need to book in some cases 2 weeks in advance for this. $30 for a mix platter for 1 is ridiculous whereas places I've been to its only cost $15 and could feed 2. The baba ganoush was almost unedible due to the burnt flavour!

Came here for dinner, had the seafood tasting plate and trio of dips for entree. Seafood was nice and fresh and cooked perfectly. Dips nothing out of the ordinary. Mains were the tasmanian atlantic salmon and the veal special with a side of pear, rocket and persian feta salad.

The mains were tasty and definitely didn't disappoint. The views are spectacular and the service was good. I'm glad to see their standards haven't dropped since the last time I was here almost 5 years ago.

Bartino Tapas Bar, Pyrmont

Went here without a booking on a Friday night with a group of 12. Unfortunately, they weren't able to give us a table outside even though there was a few tables which they could've put together apart from that they were able to cater for our group inside. I had been putting off coming here although I walk past this place for years due to the mixed reviews.

The service was great and the tapas dishes we ordered were great and tasted fresh. The standouts were the calamari, chorizo, mushrooms and the potatoes. The side of the garlic bread was great and the paella was nice (not the best I've had but decent). We also ordered the sangria (who doesn't order sangria when having tapas?) and it was good but would've liked it to have a bit of bubbles in it. Overall this could potentially be my new local tapas place if it continues to be good!

Everytime I walk past this place its normally empty and came here as a last resort due to all the other restaurants having a 1hr wait on a table during mothers day. Orders were taken promptly which was promising but everything went downhill from there, the rice came out within 5 minutes but the food took about 45 min 1hr to arrive and didn't come altogether.

Service was non existent not unless you hail them down as they fly past you. As for food it wasn't bad but you can get better for alot less. Views are nice though.

Came here for an impromptu dinner a few Friday's ago. We opted for a few of the 'Ouzomezedakia' share plates which consisted of the fried calamari, pork belly, scallops and the lamb wrapped in filo pastry. Unfortunately, the dishes didn't come out at a consistent pace and by the time our last dish came out we were too full to eat it. We also tried on the of the reds which was recommended by the hostess.

Overall the food was great and had a great lively yet intimate atmosphere at the same time. I am looking forward to trying the lamb skaras which has been recommended to me.

The views are great and is a good place for a relaxing lunch, ordered the calamari and only wished there were more as I found it to be portioned small. One of us ordered the risotto and was ready by the time everyone had almost finished their mains, it was quite tasty when it finally came out so it was worth the wait. Will be back for another lazy lunch.

Came here for a mid week lunch, I tried the fish & chips and it certainly didn't disappoint, the fish had a crumbed coating which was full of flavour. Food was a decent price and quality was fresh and food came out quickly. Looking forward to trying the chicken burger on brioche next time.

Dined here during the March Into Merivale promotion, Had the veal & mulloway dishes. Service was excellent, veal was melt in your mouth. The mulloway was quite a small portion but according to my fellow diner she enjoyed it. We ordered a side of mash & it was creamy, silky and smooth! Will definately be back to try the tasting menu's! Value was excellent!

Had dinner here a few nights ago, food was nice however a little bit on the pricey side. Having said that I do want to come back and try other dishes. Had the chicken with special curry sauce, salt & pepper calamari & hainanese chicken.
