First thing I want to mention is the extremely pushy and rushed service we received. The food was loved by the entire table although I must say I was not that impressed. We got a great table and the ambience is great, quite buzzy which I loved. The waitresses had great knowledge on what was being served. I was impressed with our separate portions for a shared dessert.

Let me begin with the positives. The extensive wine list is amazing and not overwhelming like I anticipated. Picked three different whites and all three were stunning. I think the tasting platter was definitely not worth the money. The seafood platter is the best I've had and I would recommend it. Now with the negatives, way too many people were crammed into the restaurant destroying the ambience.

As there so many tables, there were not enough menus to go around. I was annoyed when I had to wait a long time just to see the wine list. The service was ok considering the amount of people. Next time I will return during the week to really soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the food and wine.

A really nice Vietnamese restaurant. Lovely ambience and the food is very nice. Stand out dishes were the chicken chilli/lemongrass and the dumplings. Only let down was the salad in the diy rice paper rolls was old and limp. I was also disappointed when the signature 'red rice' was 'sold out'.

The prices charged for the quality of food isn't justified. Average price of main is $25-$32. You cannot charge those sorts of prices without the quality to go with it. Very disappointed. The place is run by staff with an average age of 16. Will not be back.

Had a friends birthday there. Great intimate venue. Especially liked the outdoor area. Staff coped well considering they were one down. Food was very nice but no major stand out- indian/asian dished. We had the banquet, which was reasonably priced. Service was great. Nothing was too much of a fuss for them.

I dined there with a group of 8 last night. The restaurant was virtually empty. So many negatives to list. The most annoying being the unavailability of several wines and most beers. We were constantly being informed "sorry we just ran out"... they even "ran out" of bread rolls! The meals all came out separately about 20 minutes apart. I did however feel sorry for our waiter who remained very apologetic for all the stuff ups and gave us some drinks on the house. The meals were hit and miss. Some enjoyed them, some hated them. All were happy with the share platters however.

Dined on a Saturday night and could not see one table vacant. The service is really very good. The menu is quite extensive but the dishes were average. The portions of the meat platter for two is too small. The boys were left a little disappointed. Had the dolmades, saganaki and octopus as entrees to share. All ok but nothing to write home about. The pita bread was dry.

Extensive variety of Yum Cha dishes. Very enjoyable food. However next time we would not want to be seated in the room off the main dining area. Appeared that all the 'Westeners' were seated there.

Great service but have had much better Vietnamese. Plenty of other great places to go. Would not go back.

What a great shame! We were frequent diners at Greco years ago and went back recently to be reminded of why we loved it so much. To our disappointment the entire menu has changed.

However, more of a disappointment was the complete lack of service. We waited approx 15 mins before we hailed down a member of staff for menus. I understand in busy times this is possible, however there were only 2 other occupied tables. This was completely unheard of a ouple of year ago-- Cafe Greco has always been busy. To be fair we did not stick around to even sample the new menu thus cannot comment on the food. I think it has become just popular 'hangout' for young kids?
