Firstly - please note that I am commenting on the Italian Village as a wedding reception venue only. I have not eaten at the restaurant. My now husband and I hosted our wedding at the Italian Village recently and can not express how happy we were with our choice! All of the staff were amazing to deal with. Nothing was too difficult. The food was delicious and very generous serving sizes. The ambience was perfect - we were on the top floor and both rooms were just stunning. All of our guests commented on the quality of food ( and quantity ) as well as ease of dealing with staff. The package was fantastic value as well - particularly being on Sydney Harbour where many venues raise prices. I highly recommend this venue.

My fiance and I Love this place! We will make a trip into the Rocks just to get scones here. The tasting baskets are great value and the service is always polite. Best scones we have ever tasted.

I went here with a group from work and we all left raving about the food. Each dish was amazing and the sashimi was beautiful and fresh. The wait staff are a little too efficient not staying at the table for too long making it at times difficult to order more food and wine! Having said that they were all polite and knew the menu well.

For me the stand out dishes of the night were the butterfish lettuce cups and the beef teriyaki. My only complaint of the night was that the bathrooms were unexpectedly dark but incredibly stylish. Highly recommended but be sure to book as this place is very popular!

We must have been on a bad night because our experience was awful. We waited a while to place orders and when someone finally came over to us we were informed that one of our choices was sold out, along with about half of the menu. We ended up going for the veal and a pizza. For drinks we only ordered 1 glass one wine which did not turn up until after our meals.

To their credit this was then offered complimentary. The veal was ok but lacked a punch. The pizza was pretty terrible. It was cold and had far too much rocket. Generally the meals were boring. When they collected the plates they noticed the pizza was almost totally un eaten and again to their credit offered sweets complimentary but at this point we just wanted to leave. We won't be back again.

Service was quite slow considering there were 4 kitchen staff on. The food was ok but not fantastic either. While they decor is nice it is quite noisy and very few tables (we went on a Sunday night and it was quite busy). Prices were a few dollars higher to eat in so I wouldn't call it great value. All in all it was ok but would probably not go back to eat in again. Might try the sushi take away next time.

We started just 4 days and first sunday that was why!

Keep looking us!! We will slowly change as your best restaurant!!
