Very disappointing. I went to this place from a recommendation.

The service was poor, there was a trolley, (on avg) every 5 minutes that wouldn't have seemed so bad if there was variety. The only food available was dumplings, there wasn't even mango pancakes!

The price was ok but everything else was pretty poor. There are too many good Chinese Yum Cha in the city, I will not be coming back to this one.

Lived up to the name! I went to Jamie's with no expectations, as the reviews I read were not consistent.

We made a booking (as we had a group of 7) our table was ready as soon as we arrived. The chairs were pretty uncomfortable they are metal with no cushions, this wasn't really an issue until later in the evening when we were all uncomfortable.

We ordered a combination of antipasti and mains. The antipasti were all unique and left us hanging for the mains. The mains came about 5 minutes after the antipasti plates were taken away. The linguine was different from other pasta it had texture unlike the rubbery feel of normal production line pasta. The fish was fresh and the steak was cooked as ordered.

Overall the food reflected Jamie's cooking and lived up to all expectations. Every dish was full of flavor. The only downside was the seating. By the end of the night we couldn't wait to leave.

Easily one of the best restaurants I have visited.

It's a small place and parking isn't easy, but once your there your greeted by friendly smiling staff who are attentive for your entire stay.

We ordered a small sashimi plate which left us licking our fingers, thinking we must have picked the best dish first. Then out came the Soft shell Karaage, which was so tasty we couldn't believe our luck!

Time for the main, Wagyu beef sukiyaki hot pot. I read reviews of this main and thought, I had to try it. There was so much flavor that I drank the soup. The beef was tender and the vegetables were crunchy.

I cannot recall a place where the service, food, and value were 10 out of 10. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Please read if your planning a special occasion at this place. We purchased some discount coupons online and planned to celebrate a birthday there. So we called and made a booking for 6 people.

When we arrived, we were advised that as we did not provide the coupon numbers to the staff who took the reservation, they could not accommodate for our booking. I then spoke to the manager, who explained that they had a staffing issue that day and as such would not be able to maintain our reservation.

At this point I was shocked, as I looked around, there were 5 or 6 tables which accounted for roughly 10% of the tables in the restaurant. The attitude of all staff we interacted with was appalling, I have never seen such a blatant disregard for customers, and given that this place is new you would expect the staff to go the extra mile to impress, or at the very least, be polite. If the service/attitude of the staff is any reflection of the quality of food, then it would strongly recommend to stay away.

The service was great, it is rare to find this kind of service lately. We were greeted and shown to our table immediately. The menu had a huge variety of cuisine, I guess the name says it all. Within 5 minutes our drinks arrived with our dips and bread, once we had finished the waiter came and cleared the table and offered clean cutlery (a first). our mains arrived 5 minutes later, it was like clockwork. The food was tasty and cooked perfectly, the only thing I could fault is the back of the restaurant, as we left we took the back exit which is where the bins are, not something that can be avoided, but if you leave, leave from the front. Highly recommended.
