Eat here at least once a week - often more. Everything I have tried has been tasty especially the Chilli Basil Beef. At $8.50 a plate for lunch for most things I can't really complain. The wait can be long on busy days. I just take a look in the door and if there are too many people waiting for food I go somewhere else that day and try again next time. I can usually order, get my meal, eat and leave in 30-35 mins.
The decor in the pub is quite modern with big screen TVs everywhere.

Fast, cheap and tasty what more could you want? Large selection of Chinese/Vietnamese style dishes. Cheap at around $7-$10 each. Served very quickly to your table after you have ordered at the register. Great for when you want a fast meal. Pub atmosphere may not appeal to all.

Have eaten here twice - both times for weekday lunch. First time had $15 set bento box type meal. Teriyaki chicken was good but gyoza was pretty terrible & bland. Condiments were missing. Second time had soft shell crab. Again very bland and oily with nothing to dip it in or flavour it with.
On the first visit another member of the group ordered the tempura prawns and they appeared to be a very big serving and he said they were good. Another of the group (a coeliac) tried to find out if they had any gluten free dishes but the waitress didn't understand so the person had to guess from the pictures on the menu if the meal was likely to contain gluten or not.
The service on the first visit was OK but on the second, we were seated and then forgotten about for one hour while all the people who entered after us had their orders taken and served. I tried to get their attention but they kept avoiding us. This would be reason enough not to go back but the addition of the bland food means I won't be returning. Please don't tell me it is like food in Japan as I have been to Japan 4 times and none of the food I have eaten there has been bland.

The food is good, they are not stingy on the servings and use good quality ingredients (eg no fat on the pork in the rice paper rolls and good quality rice paper). Its appearance is typical of a Vietnamese restaurant with condiments, tissue box etc on the tables and a very basic decor. I enjoy looking at the hanging ducks in the window as they look so tasty.
