We had a yummy time last Friday. As my friend said: I don't want to cook anymore, I just want to live on Norton Street. We shared 3 pizzas between 3 people and they were flavourful and thus satisfying. The deserts are the glory of this place; the desert menu is almost as long as the mains menu. We finished the evening very sated. Even with corkage, the cost was a reasonable $45 per person for a great evening out. Kudos to the owners.

I eat lunch here at least once a month and have done so for the last 5-10 years, I forget exactly how long. My favourites are the katsu-don or the rbi-don, and sometimes when I want to splurge, the unagi-don. They are consistently good. Once in a while I have a ramen and that's good too. This place is very popular with cognoscenti, service is quick, and the price is very good for what you get and the location on Crows Nest eat street.

I had a Sunday lunch here and enjoyed the food which was as good as any Thai I have had. The service was alright, but I really couldn't say because the weather was bad and the place wasn't crowded so it wasn't hard to get service. Prices are fairly normal. It's a welcome addition to eateries in the CBD.

I discovered this yum cha restaurant from a review elsewhere. It seems quite a lot of people already know it from the line outside after 12 noon. The food is quite good and all the standard dishes are served from trolleys. The 7/10 for the value is actually a don't know because I was prevented from paying by my host and I didn't get to see the bill. I'd be happy come back here next time I'm in Brisbane.

One of our group had spotted this restaurant and so we arranged a visit today. It was quite decent yum cha and we are seasoned yum cha hunters. In fact I would say it is better than many CBD yum cha restaurants. All the standard dishes were available, but not many premium items or sweets. Cost for 5 came up to around $90.

Service was attentive but not obsequious. It was not crowded at all, so no problem being seated immediately, though I don't know if this was typical as it's holidays. I wouldn't go far out the way to eat yum cha here, but if you are in the Hornsby area, this is an excellent choice.

Having been to the Leichhardt Braza, I was pleased to see a Braza open in Newport. I can say that this is just as good as the Leichhardt one, and perhaps betters it in ambience because of the semi-open layout. Great for a group celebration. All the churrascaria favourites are available. But be sure you have the appetite for a big meal. Don't forget the pineapple, it helps the digestion. I wish they had a few more Brazilian beers to choose from, I was hoping for Crystal, Antarctica or Brahma in addition to Nova Schin and Palma Louca.

I have been here on two Sundays, the first for afternoon coffee, which was very good. The second time I came for a big brekkie. It was yummy, though a bit on the salty side due to the presence of both ham and baked beans. The Guatemalan hot chocolate was something else, far above the pack of undistinguished hot chocolate drinks. Impeccable service, beautiful refurbished decor, what more could you ask for? The place was buzzing with happy customers, but not chockers so I did not have to wait.

Went there on a Monday night and had a Porcapeppa pizza, a Spanish Prawn pizza, and a couple of imported beers. Pizzas were the delicious thin crust variety. The Peppadew on the Porcapeppa was a new sensation to me, quite interesting. Also had dessert each. Service was excellent and pizzas came quickly, good for a cold night. We were full by the end. Came up to just over $50 for two, good value for what we had. Note that we used the two pizzas for one offer mentioned above so you will find it more expensive on a weekend.

Response from Management:
Glad you enjoyed our special offer, thanks for coming!

We needed somewhere to eat before a concert at the State Theatre around the corner and not much else was open on a Sunday evening. Since we hadn't tried Wagamama before, we thought why not?

The music was too loud and this made it hard to converse. Food was tasty and fresh but rather pricey for the amount we got, about $20 per plate. Fortunately, it had been a hot day so we weren't very hungry. Also it's hardly real Japanese cuisine, more like fusion.

Service was attentive. Food came reasonably rapidly. Not much of a view, you only see the inside of the galleries. There was no crowd because it was a Sunday evening. So I think we will look for a better value place next time.

A couple of us came here on a rainy night and enjoyed the filling food. The feijoada they make is the closest to what I had in Rio when I was there. I actually wished they had not given me such a large portion because I had no room for the tempting desserts. But we did find room for a coffee. Pleasant family-run atmosphere. This is a very welcome addition to the handful of Brazilian cuisine restaurants in Sydney. We must come back for the Bahian specialties.
