All in good value for the food and service, decor needs a lift although it was reno not that long ago they didn't go all the way with it, get rid of the TV in the corner and things would have improved loads, go for the food not the walls and all is good.

Visited here for a business lunch. Lovely old converted home with beautiful original features. Menu was simple but choice was reasonable, wine selection good. The food was basically presented but nice flavours with the steak cooked as ordered.

We organised a birthday here, atmosphere is great as was the service and drinks options.

I arranged for catering (their platters) but the portion size was tiny and the crowd left hungry not what I was after (and this was after we bought extra hot chips on the night to help feed the gap). This was disappointing considering I had checked on two prior occasions about portions and was assured that there would be enough to feed even the biggest of men.

Other than that it was really good. I would recommend it again, but maybe for a small table rather than a function.

Great place to bring the kids, there is a kids room (behind glass doors so you can see it but it isn't too noisy on the outside). Menu is varied and size of meals good. We have enjoyed many dishes here, mid price bracket and the drinks are very reasonable. Love coming here for a coffee/cake or full meal, would recommend it.

My husband and I have been here twice now. A great night out with fantastic food and wonderful wine to accompany it. Trully a fine dining gem in Parramatta. They use only local produce and change the menu weekly with the seasons, also offer a local charity support - top notch service, ethical behavour and outstanding food, perfect.

Went to Daniel's on a Friday night. It was not busy and we got a table easily. As past reviewers have said, it isn't easy to locate, but with a little looking for the sign that said to walk down stairs we were there.

Shared mezze dip plate for starters which was lovely, hubby had the lamb shank (special) and I had the scotch fillet, both were wonderful in both taste and portions. Used the entertainment card for the first time and got our cheapest main free, all in all a great place for the hills with really nice food. We did order the side vege's (recommended) and shared the fig and date pudding for dessert (also recommended), a lovely night out.

Only thing that could improve the place is a less beige makeover of the furnishings, but really it was well worth the visit.

Food was lovely (we ordered seafood which is the most common item on the menue) and had fantastic service. The scene is upmarket but not smug and the choice of wine good. A great place for lunch (the time we visited) and I imagine a good place for dinner. Do take your time and do order sides (the vege's on the side really did make the meal).

Great view and outlook, ok food and service. That about sums it up. Not bad, not good - nice location right on the water when the weather is nice.

Prior to children arriving we use to go to fine dining restaurants a bit, this was the first fine dining exp we had in a few years and overall is was good. For the price we have eaten better (Sol Dal a Tarre In VIC), Shakey Tables in Hunter Valley. But really for a place in Home bush (Olympic Park) it had style and the service was fantastic. We would not return for the full price menu but would happily return for the lower price (and still very yummy) combined lunch specials.

We get take away from here almost every fortnight. With a great mix of Thai/Chinese and some Malaysian inspired dishes. Fav's in our home include the szechuan chicken, chili and basil chicken and steamed dim sums. Great value, cheap with most mains about $11-12, you can't go wrong.
