Do not go to Astor, no aircon, terrible service (we had to remind them of our order 30 minutes in) and my eggs Benedict the hollandaise sauce was split tasted like vinegar.

Yoshii, The Rocks

Just attempted to celebrate a friends birthday at Yoshii, $120 a head degustation menu 2 couples, service from start was terrible with the maître d' being very dis ingenuous, servings were taste sensations which would be fine if they were a sensation, so just small bland uninspired servings, average of 30 minutes between courses we were there for 3.5 hrs.

Finally came dessert a nice touch of a birthday plate with 4 little taste sensations on it and happy birthday written in chocolate writing, for one of us, the rest of us waited for about 20 minutes until the ladies came to clear the birthday plate saying were we all finished, we said we haven't been served yet, the maître d' came over and said rudely the plate was for all 4 to share, when its a birthday they give 1 plate when usual they give 4? so when its your birthday you get less? rudeness continued with him saying it was our fault we didn't split it (it had been set infront of the birthday guy!)

At no point did they say it was a sharing plate they set infront of one of us, nor did they apologize, overall terrible service for a 2 hat restaurant, terrible value for money, food was mostly bland, ambience mediocre, one highlight was the sushi course but not enough to salvage a very poor experience. I'd say stay away.
