We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here, and we loved our experience. The beautiful view, and every plate was absolutely pretty as a picture. We chose from the 4 course menu. My partner's rhubarb salad was amazing! and of course the desserts of Ewe milk ice cream and snow egg was memorable. If only some of the wait staff would smile more. Most definitely a special dining experience. We hope to be back.

Came here with friends the first time for Sunday lunch. I will definitely add Mino to my favourites list. We chose the a la carte lunch menu, and the set meal was delicious and fresh, and great value in my opinion.

I chose the sashimi lunch set, and for $16, I ate my way through a generous plate of tuna, salmon, kingfish and scallop sashimi, agedashi tofu, salad, miso soup and rice. Fantastic! I will be back for sure to try their Kaiseki menu.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner on Friday night. The plates were beautifully presented, and resembled 3D artwork. I couldn't stop marveling at the veal main! We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and attentive service (as I had heard otherwise), and we were completely full after 3 courses. A lovely place for a very special occasion.

We went with some friends for a Friday night dinner, and had been wanting to go for some time. Parking is hard to find, so come prepared to circle the streets on popular nights.
We thought the service was attentive, friendly though not intrusive. The presentation of the meals were the highlight. Wonderful and full of colour. The kingfish pre-starter was memorable. I had the confit of salmon entree, mulloway main, and mille feuille dessert. I thoroughly enjoyed all my meals and thought the different bursts of flavours were a real treat. People have been commenting about portion, and I thought the portions were adequate for a 3-course meal. It left me satisfied, not full. Value wise, we used our trusted entertainment card, so for a 3-course meal, we thought it was good value for the dining experience we received. I would likely return.

I am not used to booking a table for lunch, so I had high expectations going into this meal. The surrounds of water views and the bridge beyond is lovely, and that would be the main reason I would return. There is parking available, but you'll have to search for directions to Deckhouse if you're unfamiliar with the area.

No complaints re: service, but, unfortunately, the food was a let down. A few of us ordered their tempura fish as we heard they were well known for this. The batter didn't taste like a light tempura batter, but tasted floury and oily. Just like battered fish. The fish didn't taste particularly fresh either, dry. My friend ordered the fillet steak, and wanted medium rare. The waitress suggested she order medium as she said the kitchen staffs always under cook the steak. It came out well done.

Because of this, I think the value reflects more the views and location rather than the food itself. I would rather return to the other lovely eateries around Woolwich instead.

Love the ambience, interesting art nouveau-like decor, it was packed with a great buzz. Came here before for the ladies picnic. So haven't been here for a meal.

The service was pretty good for being so busy. I feel for them having to squeeze through all the tiny spaces. Food wise, was a big let down for my choosing. I had the paper baked John Dory with prawns and vegetables. Nothing special. The paper cooking made all the vegetables taste extremely fishy and the prawns looked shriveled, tasted frozen.

The saving grace was my fish being cooked nicely. I guess its not a restaurant as such but still. I would go back for the atmosphere, but will stick to the tapas and drink.

We were in the blue room - quite a narrow room off the side of the 'house'. It was intimate enough, but once another couple sat on the opposite wall, we were arms width apart, and the intimacy was lost unfortunately. Service was friendly and very attentive. Could not fault.

The food unfortunately was a little hit and miss. I ordered the tagliolini for entree - now, I've never had tagliolini before, but I thought it was a little overcooked? My partner enjoyed the house special of papperdelle. My main was the seafood stew. This was beautiful. Seafood was succulent, tasted fresh and sweet! For dessert, we shared the pistachhio semifreddo with pistachio sorbet. The presentation of food was beautiful, but somehow I felt a little let down. I would return though, and try something different.
Overall, we were somewhat satisfied with the night. I think if we were in a different room with different menu choices, it would have been better.

My partner and I have been waiting so long to dine here. We were here on a Tuesday night, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The ambience is understated. I think perhaps it shows the modesty of Tetsuya Wakuda. Not flashy or too dressed up. Sophisticated, simple which lets the experience of the food take over. We also had a lovely view of the garden.

Service was faultless - friendly, attentive staff. There's valet parking. Now to the food - presentation was so beautiful, and each dish was a new taste experience. His signature confit ocean trout was absolutely memorable. Unlike what the previous reviewer said, it's not raw fish seared on one side - it's actually slowed cooked. There was not a dish that I didn't enjoy, and we were absolutely filled at the end. Our one last treat for the night - seeing Tetsuya Wakuda venture out from the kitchen and into the service area and having a chat to us at our table! A rare treat!

This is a great little Japanese place in Beverly Hills filled with all your basics. Was here for a girlfriends catch up session, and we all settled for the good-valued dinner sets for $27. The sashimi tasted fresh and cut nice and thick. I also had the tempura which was a generous serve and light. The atmosphere itself is nothing special, but you come here really for the food. Service was lovely. Would come back if I'm ever in the area.

Liked the wooden deck-out of booths. Yakiniku - grill house, so if that's what you're looking for, you would, perhaps, rate this place a little better. My partner and I were not particularly wanting the grill so ordered other dishes. I think it's part korean, serving kimchi and the like as complimentary dishes. The sashimi was really lovely and thick, and the deep fried flounder was tasty. They were our highlight dishes.

Other not-so spectacular were the mini gyoza's, tasted mushy on the inside, and the kimchi pancake (oily with loads of onion). If you don't mind coming out smelling a bit 'meaty' as all open-grill places, then it's worthwhile to try this place once. It is fairly average in price. But after that, it's a take-it-or-leave-it kind of place for us.
