I had heard good things about this place so I went here for something different. I have never been so disappointed in my life. The portion and freshness of the seaweed salad was insulting. The California roll was flavorless and the size or a 20c piece.
None of our meals were brought out on time, in fact one of my friend received his meal 30 minuets after us. I cannot emphasize how disappointing this experience was for me. They serve better sushi at 7-11.

I was with some friends on a Sunday and we were super hungry. We first went to the Coogee bay hotel and it was super noisy and packed. So we walked down to Five O's. The food is what you expect for the price. I was overall satisfied with the service. But more importantly I was super glad that I got more or less the same meal I would have received at Coogee Bay hotel but without the exuberant price.
Cheap pubfood: Five O's > Coogee Bay hotel.
