I've tried this place a few times now. The most decent coffee this side of George Street but gosh you feel ripped off given the barista doesn't seem to know how to pour the milk. Once the froth was half my cup and other time, the coffee cup is never filled properly with the milk but instead heaps of froth.

Took my sister out using one of the coupons in early Jan. The bread, olives and nuts entree were beautiful. We then proceeded to have some of the seafood tapas which were also excellent. By the time we got to our mains (my sister had the goat, I had the chicken), we were quite stuffed! Great cocktails, lovely service. A nice place to be when summer hits!

It is Saturday breakfast/brunch place to be! Had the french crepes with a lovely coffee. The service was top notch with friendly helpful staff (my friend is gluten intolerant and they were great in recommending options). I was eyeing the mushroom and eggs dish which the next table had which I will have upon my next visit! We also were treated with a surprise creme brulee after our meal which was extremely yummy. Fantastic!

Took my partners out for her birthday dinner. She really liked the down to earth feel of the place, food was great, can be a bit pricey but worth it for the quality. Service was also very attentive. Agree with others who call it a hidden gem!

Went there with my partner a few months ago and have been meaning to write a review for ages. Food is good but boy the service seriously lets this place down. I felt sorry for the young guy on the register and trying to serve food but you can see down the back, there's only 1 cook serving. We waited 1 hour for our lunch meal. It honestly doesn't do itself any favors!

Went there with my partner using the spreets voucher deal so it was a bargain, however, we normally go regardless because of the beautiful food and awesome service. One of the tastiest Japanese tofu and seaweed salad I've had, the salmon carpaccio was just right and the waygu beef was also very tender. All in all, a great night out.

p.s If you can, sit at the bar and watch the 2 chefs cook up a storm. They are incredibly attentive to detail and makes you want to order all sorts of different dishes next time you go!

Took clients for lunch recently and ordered the Set Menu 2. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Would recommend as a nice dinner out as well with great views!

Had a great dinner with my partner last Saturday night. Had the Sashimi Platter Special and a salad which was plenty for us. The waitress was kind enough to recommend a regular salad and asked us to order more if we felt like we needed more. Service was great, ambience was great, food was fantastic so all in all, a pretty good dinner! Would recommend however probably for special occasion as it can get a little expensive!

Great restaurant for a Christmas Eve lunch. Fantastic views with the water. My partner had the cold seafood entree which was big enough for her main. Absolutely loved it. I had the Atlantic salmon which was beautifully cooked. Service was prompt and fast. Would recommend to anyone heading up Nelson Bay way.

I had the use of the Spreets deal for the lobster and Waygu degustation menu. Turned out to be a fantastic meal although reading the reviews below, I'm glad I used it as it would have definitely have been very pricey otherwise! Whilst our side of the table was full (children/family could be heard in another room) and what only appeared to be 2 waiters, our food was promptly served and always with a smile. Good atmosphere and we really enjoyed the night out.
