Extremely delicious food! I particularly liked the wagyu in the onion sauce and the fresh sashimi. The waitress was also very bubbly and attentive. Fantastic night overall!

Was here for dinner on Saturday night with a group for a friend's birthday. We were pushed into ordering the set menu as we had a large group (for the restaurant's convenience).
Food really was just mediocre. We had the bruschetta and pasta for entrees. The pasta was quite bland and some were undercooked as you could see the hard flour as you bit into them.
For the mains we had a choice between salmon and chicken. The chicken was pretty good with a nice taste and texture, but salmon was quite flavorless and boring.
Time for the bill to come, the waiter refused to accept our entertainment cards which gave us a 25% discount, Reason being we had the set menu. However, we double checked the entertainment book which clearly states we get 25% off the total bill, with no mention of anything to do with a set menu. As the waiter continued to refuse our cards, we ended up paying $135 more than we anticipated.
We all felt cheated by this restaurant. It's terrible service. We all left feeling ripped off, and definitely won't be returning, and definitely won't advise our friends and family on visiting either.

This has got to be the worst restaurant I have ever visited. The service in particular was shocking. I could in fact say that there was negative service as the staff left us all feeling grumpy and hungry. For the below reasons, I will never ever visit Fujiya again, nor recommend anyone to go there:
We made a large group booking and upon arrival we were given a much smaller table, leaving us all crammed in together. Had to ask 5 times for water. Ordered drinks which came after the meal. Someone's food didn't come after 2 hrs, and had to leave and get maccas. Most people had to wait over 1 hour to get their food.
Our food was given to other tables. Rice which comes with the meal actually came separately after the meal. Food was cold. Staff were unresponsive and pretended not to hear us on many occasions.
I strongly advise against this restaurant especially if it is for a special occasion because they will most probably ruin your night.

I really love this place! It's such a fun and friendly place with comfy seating where you can just hang with your friends for hours playing board games or chat over a drink and cake. The young staff are extremely nice and service is quick. I do wish they'd expand their food menu though, just so there'd be something we can nibble on during our stay.

Absolutely fantastic greek restaurant! I've been here on 3 occasions and they didn't let me down once. You can walk away paying less than $30, feeling extremely satisfied with your meal. I love the lamb casserole and souvlakis. All mains are served generously and staff are friendly. Great place for dates, large gatherings and families!

I actually went to the Menya near the Shelbourne Hotel. I went on a very chilly and windy winters day so this place was a saviour with its tasty hot ramen. The soup was the perfect flavour and portions are moderate (may not be enough for guys who have a large appetite) In total I paid about $12 for a bowl of ramen + a can of calpis, so I think it was good for the price.
Menya is a nice place to drop by with small groups or even by yourself if you're on a lunch break. The tables are all shared, so you can be sitting quite closely with some strangers.

I've been here a couple of times and to those wondering why it seems slightly different from other Japanese restaurants, it's because it is run by a korean family rather than Japanese chefs.
Nonetheless, the food is not bad and you get quite a lot of food for what you pay. My favourite is the sashimi! they are really generous in their servings and the waitresses are friendly enough. Don't order the okonomiyaki though, it's nothing like the real thing. You get this tiny cake made of thick dough with a really weird texture. To sum it up, PROS - sashimi and prices, CONS - okonomiyaki and small tables.

This is a cosy little cafe/restaurant serving pastas, steaks and lots of cakes. I've been here several times and love it mainly because it's a place where you can just sit and have a chat over a drink for several hours. The seating is very comfortable and prices are midrange, similar to other cafes. Steaks are around $20-$28 and pastas around $15. Everytime I visit Georges we spend approximately $30 per head.

The food was absolutely value for money. I've been there for lunch several times and didn't have to pay over $8 each time. The Thai green curry is my favourite, but beware - it is Hot!

I absolutely love Vincent's Noodle House! I have been there countless times because there is so much variety to choose from on the menu and the drinks are quite interesting.
I frequently order the pho or the seafood with fried noodles (yumyum!), though it might be a little oily. They generously give you 10 prawns in the dish, and sometimes 11 if they miscount. The dishes are massive and I usually don't end up finishing them. The service is fast, just like any Vietnamese restaurant. Don't expect them to be extra friendly.
The prices are pretty average, you can get similar food in places like Cabramatta or Bankstown for a lower price where it is Vietnamese central. However, I must say that my dining experiences there have been very comfortable each time due to their wide tables and cushiony chairs. They don't rush you to leave the restaurant once you've finished eating like other vietnamese restaurants do because they just have so many tables.
