Great place with excellent service and delicious food.
I loved the "cafe" feel of the restaurant, the air was thick with spices when we arrived. Altogether a great experience and looking forward to going back.
Just one improvement could be to get some wine coolers so we don't have to flag down the waiter when he's running around at a million miles an hour because our wine is in the fridge!
See you next time!

What a great place!
We walked in off the street and got a table immediately. The restaurant is quite large which I though might mean that it did not have a good atmosphere but this was not the case. The interesting Thai ornaments gave the restaurant an authentic feel.
The service was excellent with the wait staff attentively refilling our water, pouring our drinks etc. The food came promptly and was both delicious and original. When the bill came, we found that it was excellent value. The only negative point was that we dined on a cold wet, windy night and the automatic door to the restaurant kept opening when people walked by giving us a blast of cold air. Apart from this it was one of the best Thai eating experiences I have had in Sydney.

Very disappointed after trying Kai for the first time. We booked via Dimmi and the restaurant had no record of our booking. We had to ask where our food was after over 40 minutes waiting for the entrees (Sashimi and beef tataki). The specials had run out at 8pm. We then had a long wait for our mains to arrive.
The food is okay and the on-tap beer is good but I have had many Neutral Bay Japanese restaurant dining experiences. The price of the food seemed more expensive than other Neutral Bay Japanese restaurants.
I would probably not return as I do not enjoy being ignored by the waitstaff and having to wait a very long time for the food to arrive when the restaurant was not particularly busy.

My husband and I dined at Thirteen for the first time this week. We had a very warm welcome and were impressed by the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant.
I feel that my husband may have made the wiser choice in his menu selection. The salmon and tuna entree he had was superb. I had the Antipasto as a second choice as the menu did not include my first choice of cheese souffle (as per the website). The antipasto was good but the zucchini flowers were a little dried out which was disappointing.
My husband chose the beef for his main course which was very good. Again my first choice from the web menu would have been the Pork Belly and scallops but this was not available so I went for a very tasty duck dish. The sauce with my husband's beef was wonderful and we found out from the owner how it was created. Our side order of potatoes were a little soggy and under-cooked towards the bottom of the bowl.
We were rather too full from our entree and main to go for dessert this time.
There were a couple of improvements that could have been made but overall this was a great dining experience, we really enjoyed it and will definitely be back again when I will go for the beef main course!

Stumbled upon this place while looking for another restaurant so thought we would give it a go. We were very pleasantly surprise. The service was excellent and the food was delivered promptly. The restaurant was buzzing with activity, decorated pleasantly and overall was a really good value dining experience for a quick bite. I had the Curry Udon which was delicious! Love it!

I dined here last week in a group of 8 and was very impressed with the food and the value for this little place tucked down a lane in the rocks. The restaurant is very casual and informal in style. Despite being in a group of 8, the service was very prompt and efficient.
We ordered sharing entrees which arrived promptly and were delicious. Special mention must be given for the Beef Sashimi which was outstanding. The pork maki was delicious as was the roast eggplant.
For my main I had an udon broth, the noodles being silky and delicious. My husband had the wafu steak which was very good.
Overall the experience was very good. It is a shame the restaurant does not stay open later as we were all slowly finishing our drinks when we were told that they were closing. This is a hidden gem in the Rocks and I will definitely be back.

Stopped in for some lunch for the first time today. I had a chilli chicken burger and my husband went for the beef ribs. Both were pretty tasty, spicy and flavorsome.
I Wasn't blown away by their house chardonnay, neither was I impressed with it being served in a tumbler.
The ambience of the restaurant was ruined a little for me by the choice of music (Coldplay). I would probably avoid this place for dinner but for a Saturday afternoon bite it was just perfect.

I think we might have ordered the wrong thing here as it was very disappointing. I ordered the stir fried prawns with vegetables which was completely bland and my husband ordered the chef's recommended stir fried beef with garlic and chilli which had a Lot of garlic (not a bad thing). Both dishes, however, were very un-inspiring and really overpriced for what we ate.
Overall left feeling a little let down. Dishes on other tables looked much nicer than our choice. Service was prompt which was great as we were in a hurry to get to the theater but overall I would say that I have eaten better elsewhere.

I was part of a group so we were seated in the "function" room which is a dark, uninspiring room off to the side of the main restaurant, a kind of dumping ground for pamphlets and random decorations.
We chose the three course function menu which turned out to be a typical example of a restaurant providing sub standard food because you are part of a large group.
The entrees of stuffed zucchini flowers with prosciutto were acceptable, however, the main course of lamb was very disappointing being little pieces of fatty meat which was served cold. The side dishes were delivered in very stingy portions and were very uninspiring: chips, boiled potatoes and some green salad. The desserts came on a sharing plate consisting of ice cream, chocolate tart, pavlova and creme brûlée and were very nice, however, the concept of sharing was badly thought out with a pot of crime brûlée being passed round the table for each person to try.
The waiter was attentive and as we purchased a drinks package, kept the drinks flowing all evening and did well to be on hand to us all.
The overall experience of the restaurant was disappointing. I have not eaten in the main restaurant but going on the experience of eating as a group I would definitely not recommend booking a function with Mu Mu.

Wow! Went for the degustation lunch with matched wines which lasted 5 hours! Service was impeccable, the setting is beautiful. A little expensive but worth it for a remarkable experience.
