Nice atmosphere, staff are good, but the food is overpriced for a pub Bistro, $28 for a small steak and the vegetables were cold.

Went here on an internet offer that my girlfriend bought for my birthday. What a mistake that was!, we ordered a main and was told that they are "out of oysters", we asked if we could substitute with kingfish, only to be told that they are out of kingfish", when we asked for extra anything to make up for no oysters, we were told "no".

The food was bland, 3 tiny pieces of Salmon shahimi for starter, and not that fresh. Service was slow, and for dessert, we were told that they are "out of green tea ice cream"...This is on a Friday night, early in the evening, they have to be kidding. My girlfiend ordered a mineral water @ $4, when we are allowed a $3 drink on the offer, she was going to pay the extra dollar, Guess What?....."out of mineral water".

The bill if we had not had an internet offer would have been an Outrageous $90.
Give this place a miss, it's not good. I said to my girfiend.. "if they want a tip, tell them we are "out of change" lol.

This place needs a makeover, would have looked great in the 1970's, but today looks tired and worn out. Pretty much like the food, overpriced, very ordinary, cooked with no passion or love, just a money making machine because of the views, won't be back in a hurry.

Had 3 course chefs selection Lunch, lovely location overlooking the water, Thai beef salad starter (very tasty), Steak Diane and chips for Main (tender steak cooked just how I asked), and chocolate cake with chocolate sauce with Vanilla ice cream and a strawberry for dessert,(very nice), how much? $20 for the lot!, has to be the best value lunch in the shire, if not Sydney.

I must admit I walked in on a sunny Tuesday lunchtime with some trepidation after reading some of the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised, the staff were most helpful, and the "spring menu" at $29.50 including a glass of wine was excellent value.

They threw in a complimentary amuse bouche of octopus with vinaigrette which was nice, I had the grilled fish with jasmine rice and curry sauce which was excellent, (sea perch, I had to ask!). The dessert was ok, and the largeish glass of chardonnay crisp and pretty good. Overall, the value was excellent, the service really good, and of course the harbour views, well, do I have to say more?

Went here last winter, glad to see they sell pints in straight glasses, food was reasonable, and we scored a table right next to a roaring log fire. The sports bar attached to this pub seemed to be "bogan" central however.

Went back recently, food is still just ok, restaurant very hot, (no aircon?), starter of prawn cocktail and we had to peel the prawns ourselves!, for $17 for 6 prawns, you would think they could peel the blooming things for you!
