Neil Perry the businessman or the chef. Perry everywhere, the businessman I would assume. This Massive 200 seater 'Casino' restaurant has them all sucked in. If you want the most 'Unmelbourne food experience' come here. $50 a plate for bistro food, more for selected steaks. Service is regimented and lacks subtlety. Value forget it. Make the casino bosses really happy, remove the restaurant furniture and replace them with gambling tables. More money, more money, more money.

Great food (breakfast especially). Service is not that genuine, atmosphere inside is very boring, sit outside weather permitting. Unfortunately this is as good as is gets in South Yarra, so if I am in the area, I will be back.

By far the best meal in that 'dirty old' crown casino. Normally I avoid 'the entertainment complex', however, a friend highly recommended Giuseppe, Arnaldo and Sons. Extremely well trained staff, wild detail in the design, lots of tricky wine and small goods display, but the food, Punterella-wild italian chicory salad served with a variety of vinegars (we preferred the aged Balsamic) what a way to start a dinner, next 'Clams Casino' shell fish broth, fantastic! those periwinkles and other goodies not for the conservative diner.

We then had a 'whole snapper' special with pea and mint salad and some beetroot and goats curd, great place. Some of their dishes are for the foodies, however, there are lots of safe, well cooked dishes for the less adventurous. What a shame that this amazing restaurant sits in amongst the depressing 'anti Melbourne' Crown Casino. The good news is that you can walk along the Yarra avoid the crown monopoly and enter Giuseppe, Arnaldo and Sons from the river side. There you go- Memorable.

Love the room, food is predominantly average, here we go again Italian. Overpriced wine. Coffee was very good. Might go back for coffee and soak up the atmosphere.
