We had a great time at Porteno. I must say its definitely a meatlover's galore. Food was a bit heavy but very moreish. Standouts of the night. The tuna which was perfectly cooked with the garlic dressing and the asparagus accompanied it so well. Eggplant was nicely marinated while the pig was a must try. For desserts, the South American pavlova was the standout. Overall a great restaurant to try and cheap for a 2 hatted restaurant.

This small establishment with long queues daily is a must try for any Sydney-sider. Although it may be tight and somewhat squishy, the food makes up for it. Service and ambience was ok. Now onto the food.

Started off with the roti canai with 2 curry dips. Roti was nice and fluffy inside and crispy on the outside. This really complememnted the 2 curry dips and sambal. The beef satay was to die for especially with the mouth-watering peanut sauce. The sambal udang was ok but it was too spicy and wasn't vibrant enough.

Onto drinks and dessert. Teh tarik was lovely and had the foamy bubbles on top. Roti tisu was awesome. Thin and crisp the roti had sugar spread across it making it indulging and the scoop of icecream was a great accompliment. Overall a very enjoyable meal.

A very broad menu with many things to choose from. Had the com tam (broken rice with pork). The marinated pork was to die for but the egg was slightly oily. Also had the jackfruit smoothie. Nice flavours but a tad watery. Otherwise a good restaurant in the heart of Cabra.

We've been coming here for a while now and it never dissapoint us. Although the waiters lack a bit of english, the food was the star of the night. We started with the Singaporean crab. Luscious swirls of noodles with the sweet tomato sauce complimented the crab perfectly. Next was the salt and pepper prawns. Crisp and delectable it was a winner at the table. Finally it was the seafood hotpot. With fresh seafood, tofu and lettuce this dish was to die for. Having an abundant amount of choices to choose from, this restaurant must be given a visit to.

Good food, good service and good value. What more could you ask for? Mains we ordered the crab, the very spicy green curry (which was good) and the seafood salad. For dessert we had the black sesame ice cream which was a tad icy. But other than that, this establishment is a must go to.

A pretty expensive place but with delectable xiao long baos. The xiao long baos are a must have along with the cute prepackaged soybean drink. Overall a decent place ambience and service wise.

Very expensive burgers ($18 in fact) though they are juicy and fulfilling. Awesome chips but i question the amount of parmesan. Overall the service and ambience were good but the prices weren't.

We went to celebrate my birthday yesterday at Flying Fish and was generally pleased with the whole experince. I believe that the price is a ripoff with meagre portions in each course. The firendly service made the night relaxing with the waitresses constantly refilling our glasses.

My first course was the popular yellow fin tuna. The caramel and the tuna was a match made in heaven with the crackling giving it the extra touch. The only let down was that the grapefruit as it didn't match the tuna.

I had the kingfish curry for the main and overall it was average with nothing really suprising me. The croquettes however had plenty of punch and flavour.

For dessert, I tried the dessert tasting plate. From what I've seen from other pictures, there were about 5 different desserts on the platter and I was upset with the fact that we were told that there were only 3 different desserts. But overall the dessert was good.

We were recommended the spring rolls by family before hand and I was happy that they told us about this miniscule and recently redecorated restaurant which is situated around the busy parts of Cabramatta. I ordered the bun cha gio thit nuong (vermicelli noodles with spring rolls and pork). This came with a pile of assorted greens and a generous bowl of nuoc cham.

Everything on the plate was delectable and I was impressed with the small bill at the end. The only let down was that our waiter kept on eating during our meal resulting in him chewing while speaking to us.

Their yeeros is $9.80 which is a total rip off. I had a beef yeeros and the beef made the whole yeeros a challenge to eat due to the saltiness. You could see through the staffs faces that they were completely stressed.
