Only been there once (so far), $9.50 and had the large BBQ, they do like other indians and anything place involving rice, palm you off with a container which is about 70% rice, leaving not much space for meat, you get given the container to then take to the BBQ counter. On the way I pushed and squished all the rice up to the end making about 60% space! which the chef then filled with meat.
Food was pretty tasty, I had a few bits of gristle but overall was a very good feed for 9.50, like another comment get some mints as the garlic will make you stink all afternoon.

I'm a sucker for thai food so thought I would try this place out as havent noticed it before in the spot. It was a lively place at 9 pm at night which I like. We were served fairly quickly but we had, unfortunately, got the most miserable waiter/waitress in the place, menus, water and cutlery just plonked on the cornered of the table for us to sort out.
I ordered the beef massamum and wife ordered pad sie ew (sorry for bad spelling) - hers was top food but mine was very bland, the meat was warm not hot and contained more of the fatty parts then actual meat. I don't mind the odd bit of gristle and bone but left most of it on the plate. Wasn't much sauce, wife gave it 8/10 and mine was 3/10 so we pitched it half way!

We too wanted to experience a restaurant having undergone the 'Chopping Block' experience. No atmosphere, the young guy looked like he was serving a death sentence working there and the older lady was polite but lacked any enthusiasm for the job.
The menus were confusing. My wife and I had two different looking menu's both with slightly different items and different prices. Noticed that the board had a different set of prices again!
Garlic Bread was quite nice. Very garliky which I am a fan of, served from the take out area so I guess they must be getting them out quickly. Ordered the veal parmagiana and meatballs, meatballs were similar to ones I make at home but to be honest were what we were expecting. Good sized portion. The veal was ok but looked like a 10 dollar pub meal rather than a 20 dollar restaurant meal.
Service was average to slow. I've been in slower. Like other people here, shame to see they couldn't bring the place up to scratch with the advice given. I wouldn't go there to impress anyone, if you want basic italian food then its ok.
