The night before australia day needing a place to go we decided on the family satay club, it was a pleasant surprise. Its quite a large place, we sat away from the other diners. For entree the spring rolls were standard and chicken stuffed mushrooms were nice. Mains a beef satay and bbq pork both quite good both served with plain rice so no fried rice was needed. A banana crepe finished off. They have a nice dessert list. The wine list is basic so best to byo.

The new look Grosvenor what a make up from the last time I was there, owned in the same interests as the ppl owning the point in albert park. The waitress adviced that they were busy and there could be delays which suited us as we were in no hurry but nice to tell us.

The food was typically italian antipasti for entree. Pastas and about 7 mains. I had the veal for main was good but not great. Better was the quail entree the salad part of it was a highlight. A side of eggplant chips was also a winner. Dessert of crema cotta was also divine. An excellent wine and beer list and good service made from a excellent night I shall return in the new year.

The dangers of dining out in cold weather. Being put near a door that doesn't close fully. Thats a point off, as for the food it was probably the best of the 3 or 4 times I had eaten previously' try anything that has the manchurian sauce. Service is another thing very amateurish. Byo is the best option.

Probably my most disappointing dining experience this year. Not that it was bad, just didn't meet the expectations that I've heard about. Entrees and mains didn't hit any great heights. The beef pasanda was the pick of the 5 curries on the table. The desserts were the pick of the night the kulfi and kheer, as good as if had at an indian restaurant. Byo is a good option service was good. Worth another try.

My old local sure has changed food now at the front. Pokies now down the back. The "dick" was a pleasant surprise. The dining room was quite nice and very quiet considering the room next door. Tapas to start $22 for 3 picks was a good choice. For mains the veal tasted good though didn't look the most appealing. Service was quite good and the wine list ok. I'll go back.

Could this be the only byo left in Brighton. Slightly old fashioned but not in a bad way. Food was good service ok. Judging by the crowd and all the take aways others agree. A good place to try prawns.

A surprisingly quiet friday night. Which probably made for a pleasant night at the London. The menu is much better than the last time there. I enjoyed the special, which was osso buco. A fruit tart for dessert was also enjoyed. The wine list though small is reasonably priced. Maybe I picked a good night to go because there was less pressure in the kitchen but the night was a success.

A birthday group of ten with different tastes. How would the staff go, no need to panic, we were well looked after. The quail was the pick of the entrees. The main courses were all well received, the vegetable dishes especially so. The singapore noodles though a bit expensive is better than the fried rice. Also try the coconut ice cream for dessert. Overall a good night.

After going to the movies, where do you go for a cheap meal at the casino without going to the food courts. Tia To was the pick. We had 2 dishes the roast pork a good size serve not bad though a little chewy and a prawn dish. Also not too bad both served with boiled rice. Typical casino. Drinks make the cost go up. Not great but also not a failure.

Arriving to a full restaurant at 7.30 was a good sign. After the entrees we knew a good night was to be had. A ten for value would have been given if they had a better wine list. Byo is the better option. Salt and pepper calamari makes a good starter. If you like salty go take the stuffed olives try with beer. The duck and red wine risotto main was a winner to. If you're looking for a place to go around bentleigh red pepper stands out.
