Very tired in its menu, food and service. There is no excuse for using canned asparagus on the veal. They are trading on their old reputation and desparately need to update. I was asked twice if I was "groupon" I wasn't, but not sure what that meant. I hope "groupons" don't get worse food and service then we got.

Our big mistake was not to order the pizza. They looked and smelt great. Hence, most likely the source of the better reviews. Our portions were small and the vegs for two was one small potato cut into smaller pieces and a few peas. Won't return.

Sunday evening meal with three other people. All us were thrilled with our meals and service. Not sure that the live band was a great addition as that type of venue is more for patrons to talk and the music tended to add to the background traffic noise etc. Would have preferred a bit less noise.

Called in for an early sunday dinner so the kitchen was not busy. The lamb shanks I ordered bared no resemblance to the promise shanks cooked with tomato prosciutto with roasted veg. What I got was shanks covered in standard pub gravy with steamed veg. My partners fish on fettuccine was swimming in oil. Not value for money at $25 each. I emailed the pub the next day to comment and have never received a reply.

Wow ..loved this place. For something special in the middle of the day it is just perfect. The food was great. The only exception was the pumpkin dip. (just like cold pumpkin soup). The service was great. Highly recommended.

Went for a birthday celebration on a Wednesday night. We were the only people there till about 8.30 and then it was packed. The food is not exactly irish but so good. Everyone was pleased with their meal. The service was prompt. Would return.

Good food in a pleasant atmosphere. Service was good. My only complaint was that the dishes we ordered for starters arrived at the same time as the mains.

Noisy, busy but good. Service a little disorganised but fast. Food was great. Not a place if you want to sit and have conversation as it was so noisy that we just eat and gave up on shouting to each other. Out the back in the open may be better but it was raining the night we were there.

Enjoyed the service and food at this restaurant when it first opened... But on a revisit one year later was very disappointed. Service is still friendly and adequate although a little difficult due to the lack of english competency of the staff. The portions sizes have shrunk. My eel, 6 "tiny" pieces was dry and tasteless. The dish had been filled out with rice, bonito flakes and lettuce. My partner salmon was also small and overcooked. Will not be going back.

Wonderful place for a summer evening meal. Service and food were great. Great atmosphere and good selection of food choices.
