We first came across this little gem on menu log as we ordered a delivery threw their website. So I decided to book a table for some friends 5 in total. We arrived to what looked like a food court but I never judge a book by it cover.
What can we say this place knows how to cook a curry amazing food and the service 10+.

We started with the entees Aloo chop, Samosa Chat, to die for spicy poppadoms and a yogurt sauce, side dish platter, and scallops yummo, followed by our mains Kaju beef to die for, Tarkari, Masala Beef checks, Nariwali prawns, rice and roti.

This was more than enough to shear and presentation was eye indulging and service quick polite and helpful they even made a adjustment on the menu for one of our guests that did no want too much spice.

So Thanks Team at Himalayan Char Grill Crowsnest your hard work and wonderful service has not been unnoticed and we highly recommend this to any one that want a relaxed low key casual night out with friends. We will be back. Regards.

Made a booking on line yesterday and when we arrived we walked through what looked like a sports bar. Stood at the stairs and waited to be seated. Waitress arrived and we said we have a booking and she looked at us and said the Jason party we said no and we had made the booking for table for four and our name.
She gave us a very impolite look and looked around and said they were full even though you could see that tables were empty.

We said again that we had booked and she still gave us a very impolite look again which made us very uncomfortable and said theres one out side. I looked at our quest very embarrassed and said we will not be seated out side as its the smoking area and it a very cold night and that we had made a booking online then we said thank you for not helping in any way and left very disappointing. So we give it a (-10).

This is such a bad reflection on their other restaurants that are the in other locations as we go to in Newtown every fortnight. This place is amazing and the food and staff are so amazing. So in a nut shell will never attend the one in Neutral Bay again even though we live in the area.

So we went a few doors down and had a much better evening at a small fusion Thai restaurant. Do not book this restaurant on line.
