I went to L'etoile with my boyfriend and 2 of our other friends. The exterior was good, somewhat makes me feel like I'm in NY with the steps to the door.

First impression was excellent, perfect songs (very jazzy) and right people (not too crowded nor quiet) and our waiter from France was very efficient n friendly but leave us with enough space to chat around.

My partner had the scallop sausage with caviar for entree, which was delicious and to die for. I had never raved so much about food until I tried this sausage. It is amazing!
I had the John Dorry and it was cooked perfectly!

For Main my and my partner has the butcher steak (which is too good and def. a must try!) and other friend had the pork belly. The pork belly literary melts in the mouth! Orgasmic!

Overall I really like this restaurant and I will definitely come back here! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Went here after reading few reviews from magazine and when I got there my first thought was like "this place is cool!"

Got there, ordered coffee and supposedly their signature dish "baked eggs" while my boyfriend ordered eggy crumpet. While mine was, ok, as it's a bit flavorless, my boyfriend's crumpet was excellent! its tasty and with maple syrup on top, you can't fault this dish at all!

Its definitely a great place to chill, with artistic decoration and cozy ambience, however, I don't think I'll be rushing back there too soon..

After lots of positive comments about the restaurant, I finally decided to go there with some friends of mine. First impression was definitely good, overlooking the water, buzy crowded yet hip place and people. As there were 6 of us, of course we are slightly indecisive in terms of what we will be ordering and I asked my waitress for suggestion, which she gave a very brief description, however, went on saying "but you know..whatever" and walked away.

Same as when we were ordering wine. I have eaten in many many restaurants in Sydney, and have received few rude services, but I have to say our waitress beat them all! Services aside, the food was actually really really good. Pork belly was sweet and very tender, however, nothing to exciting about it (compare to longrain or even Spice I Am), however, the chicken and steamed fish were amazing! definitely a hit!

As we were finished with our dinner, our waitress had to ruin our dinner again, by telling me "don't touch the plate, I'll do it myself" as I merely moved my plate away as I wanted more space infront of me, I get she wants to do her job, and its busy but smile a bit, perhaps?!

So all in all, good dinner experience, but definitely bad service! So if you go there and happen to have this staff as your waitress, better ask for another waitress/table.

I have been here for breakfast over the weekend and I have to say that their morning smothies/juices are very fresh and tasteful (it is somehow differ from normal fresh juices that i have from the fruit shop).

The dips are amazing and turkish breakfast are to die for! However be prepared to queue and wait for a long long time as it is always full and super hard to get a car park around there too!

I went to RossoPomodoro last nite, after hearing my friends comment about it. I wasn't expecting a small restaurant in a neighbourhood, but it didn't stop me from trying. Ordered 3 different pizzas (Montana, something with potato in it, and something spicy..lol) and 3 of em were absolutely delicious! it was perfect! the crust is crisp, the cheese melts perfectly, not overpowering, and it taste amazing!

The only problem with this restaurant they don't have liquor licence, so you do have to BYO but thats ok! Overall, its a good place to be and its cheap! Definitely a gem!

Love this hawker style food! The roti canai and curry are perfect! Love the ambience, love the food, love the ppl who works there! awesome!

Went here for my birthday with a group of 5. Was blown away with the whole decoration as it was very good! However, in terms of food and service, I have to admit this restaurant could not get it right. The food was not as exciting as we thought, food was spicy, but its not a hot nice spicy, its more towards bland-make-my-tongue-and-mouth spicy? and service was pretty bad, because we had to re-tell them over and over again for our water and rice to come. I guess the waiter/waitress appearances should overcome the lack of their skill?

Overall its quite disappointing, especially remembering Neil Perry suppose to be one of the best chef in Sydney and world.
