Service was cold and indifferent, slow and inattentive. Food was tasty, however, not the best vietnamese I have had in Sydney. Would I return? ... no.

"Big" breakfast with poached eggs. Meal consisted of over refined thick white toast, one very cheap poor quality sausage and eggs that were supposedly meant to be poached but we actually cooked in a machine!. They were like rubber, cooked right through and if dropped would bounce off the pavement.

Coffee was also poor, highlight was the baked beans. Definitely will not be going back, definitely one to avoid,

We have been regulars of Barzura for quite some time now, however, since the recent refurbishments and menu "redevelopment" I am seriously questioning my loyalty.

Quantity sizes have reduced and the style of menu has changed from contemporary Australian to over priced pub food. Specials are available but only on specific nights of the week which devalues the experience particularly on a saturday night where no special were available at all. There are now combo deals (excluding saturdays) such as mussels and heineken, these combo deals with beer and the like really reinforces the pub like philosophy.

Hard backed menus are gone, now you have a very reduced menu selection printed on gloss paper similar to that of the paper which lines the trays at fast food outlets. Infact its the same piece of gloss paper (and now creased) that is represented for dessert, like the main menu the dessert menu has now been seriously stripped and reduced from the once premium and wide selection.

Overall a very disappointing experience, sadly this institution seems to have now run its course.
