We have been here twice now and found the meal to be over priced and disappointing. The meals have lacked flavour and some items were served luke warm. Single tables are too small for more than two people.

We found the wait staff intrusive, pushing hot teapots under and across our nose to pour for another seat and distributing portions without asking if we even wanted some of that menu item. This style of service may be seen as attentive by some but we found it really annoying.

Our waiter failed to deliver a simple entrée as ordered correctly although we went over it a number of times. He would not listen. We didn’t worry about sweets or coffee.

The restaurant was quiet and comfortable. The entrees and mains were really tasty with good flavour combinations. Prices were very reasonable. Service was friendly. The waiter was very attentive without being intrusive as he explained the dishes enthusiastically. The desserts were great too.

Will definitely come back again and try dishes we saw coming out at the tables next to us.

The location is great but we won't be back! Our small extended family lunched here on a Sunday, ordering four mains to start. The drinks were ordered and arrived late with an apology for the delay. By then we had three different people serve us so I can see where problems may arise. My partner pointed out to me that my glass had lipstick stains on it. When mentioned to the waitress (one of them) at the end of the meal she apologised but didn't seem the least concerned.

The mains arrived quite quickly but The Catch of the day was dry and nested on a bed of soggy sauce soaked fries accompanied by a stack of limp salad greens.
The Tempura prawns were more like deep fried battered prawns. The batter was dark and thick. The cold seafood platter with 'bugs' only had one bug. We were confused even more when they bought two plates out and quickly took one back.

I was later told that the 'bugs' are plattered by weight and as they were considered to be large only one was served. It was not large! and bugs means more than one. After asking for a dessert menu and being given a dinner menu that was nothing like the original lunch menu we gave up and left to have desserts elsewhere.

Very fresh and well presented Thai in a great location. Parking may be difficult though. Good value! Service was excellent on a busy day.

We keep returning to the Gardens and are never disappointed. The quality and service has always been great for take-away, functions and family meals. Where else are you offered a glass of wine while you wait for the take away? The restaurant can be a little noisy on weekends but it is the sound of people having a great time and meal!

We have enjoyed the Palace meals for many years and find them very enjoyable. The new premises are good but although the menu has not changed the overall taste seems different. The dishes are a little hotter and the Biryani is lighter and not as rich?

We keep going back to this gem. We use the take away service and have always experienced great friendly service and really enjoyable food. Buy some frozen sausages while you wait and enjoy them at a later date. Yum!

Fantastic food with something out of the ordinary Indian if you want a change. Great service and romantic lighting upstairs but it was very difficult to read the menu. Will visit again.

Our family enjoyed a Saturday lunch here. The food was great but we felt the portions were quite small for the price. Waiting staff were very helpful and friendly. The seating space was generous and the open front let the beach air in.

Also found it a little difficult to read the menu but the waiter was very helpful. My wife and I had a very pleasant experience. Entree and main meals were well presented and cooked to perfection. We were not rushed through the meal but had to ask for the bill. I had arranged for a window table but it was not given to us on the night. Loved it though and will be back.
