Tucked away in back corner of shopping centre but great set up once you find it. Interesting and well done tapas style menu looked superior to a la carte menu and all the dishes we had were very good. Wine list was small but original and some good blackboard varieties. They have music on sunday afternoon which would be great fun with their style of menu. Service was friendly and attentive. Well worth supporting.

There was no doubt we were in a Luke Mangan establishment. The celebrity brand is very evident but the quality lived up to the hype. Glitch on arrival as had specifically asked not to be sat at Banquette seat, one of my personal dislikes. However, Maitre d' promptly moved us to table. Bit of dark gloomy spot behind the massive central wine room but at least we weren't sitting side by side with strangers.

Service was good but we were out of view for top line service. Food was excellent. Signature crab omelette in miso mustard broth deserves its reputation and star was the lobster tortellini in coconut broth. Mains were simple but excellent produce shown off by the good cooking. Fillet was one of most flavoursome steaks I have had. Ocean trout oozed it's freshness.

Wine list is impressive but all at Sydney mark ups which make the good wines expensive. But what the heck, go the whole lot at an establishment like this.
Expensive night but the value in the setting, the food is all worth it. Great little cocktail bar adjoins. Only downside is it is in the middle of Surfers, it is still tacky especially on saturday night when the Yobs come to town.

Several visits to this restaurant always characterised by both good and innovative food and attentive service. It is in a small strip shopping centre out of the bright lights and is much more of a locals restaurant. Despite that it is elegant and polished. Menu always offers a number of alternatives that make the final decision more satisfying. Have never been disappointed by final presentation. Cheese selection tries hard but let down by couple of ordinary offerings. Does usually have few interesting ones though- if you can make it past the dessert menu. Have never had any of service issues noted in other review and I'm not a regular. This is one of the best and most consistent Restaurants on the Gold Coast so I will keep going back.

Fabulous breakfast array, range of cooking stations serving diverse range. Omelettes and poached eggs on demand, great fresh juices and pastries plus the more normal breakfast buffet fare. The quality and style make this a great breakfast feast.

Been there once at night as well. Similiar cooking sections with diverse range. Roast pork (from the pig we saw hanging in the cold room that morning), small pieces of fillet cooked to order, good quality seafood, couple of chefs on the woks cooking to order.

Desserts were delightful and there was an enormous range. Staff did reasonable job keeping the plates turning over. Drink service was a bit erratic. Chefs were eager to please.

Good spot for group with diverse tastes as there is something for every one and it was all good quality produce well prepared. A novel and superior approach to " buffet" which is a style I usually avoid.

Moved to mermaid where BliBli Bali used to be. However, food was very disappointing. One of 3 meals was good. Pepper hot pot had none of delicious caramel character of original. Spiced chicken salad was good. Ga Rotti was flavourless and bland prawn filling, inedible.

Disappointing as I had been told good things about Babalou. There on a quiet midweek night, Menu looked promising but failed to deliver. Very ordinary meal, acceptable service in a reasonable venue. Plenty better in Kingscliff.

Wide range of basic greek dishes with aussie inflence. Well executed and professional service in the chain restaurant vein. Good for lunch shopping or going to movies but not a destination in itself. Lot better than some of the other chain restaurants in this restaurant precinct in Robina shopping centre.

Great spot with great food. Fabulous deck overlooking beach and rest of Gold Coast. Friendly and welcoming service. Good value deals if you sign up as member. Very nice bistro food- Steak was great. Nice seafood and burger was also a hit. Step up from pub grub. Definitely coming back.

Hey, it is only Mexican, but these guys do it well with a smile and good prompt service. A fun place for cheap mexican. Their smoked chipotle is great.

Service patchy. Steaks are Ok but by no means best ever. The sauces they upsell are truly disgusting. Our table of 6 tried the spectrum and they were universally bad. Ruined what might have been a nice steak. Wine list good but as overpriced as the steaks. Much better elsewhere.
