Came for a special night last saturday and the restaurant deserves all three hats. The sommelier was excellent and the service relaxed but efficient. Did get a giggle with the way the food is brought out, one dish per waiter and its like a human train. Humour aside this place is warm and friendly. Expensive but excellent for that special occasion.

W'd had 2 recommendations for this place. Had the crostini shared for entree, excellent. I then had the daily special, spatchcock, perfectly cooked and delicious and my partner had the gnocchi, perfectly cooked but, perhaps, a little too much sauce and needed something with it.

Our service was excellent, most attentive and friendly without being intrusive. This restaurant is now one of two worth visiting on the coast, Rojo Rocket being the other. Well done, great italian food and reasonably priced. Wine list an italian winner and not stupidly priced.

We escape the central Coast and come here for some of the best food we've ever eaten. Been at least 15 times and keep coming back. Yes no reservations and sometimes a shared table but its worth it. Fantastic Wine list coupled with fast friendly service make this place a must.

Visted for lunch ala carte as we could not get in on friday or Saturday nights until after xmas, for good reason. These people rock! Great mexican food, good pricing, fantastic atmosphere and service. We had three courses and the bill was $100 for two including 4 caronas. Finally a decent restaurant on the central coast that we can be proud of. Puts the others all to shame.

Walked in at our prebooked time on a friday night. Nobody there. After waiting around we found a bell and rang it. Someone finally showed up and asked "have you got a booking". No welcome. All down hill from there on. Staff forgot our pre- dinner drinks, rushed around all night and gave us the wrong bill. When we left we were ignored.

All this could be forgiven if the food was good. Promising start with the warm beet salad being spot on. But my partners gnocchi was tough, dry and lacked presentation. On to the mains, nice rabbit although undercooked (raw in the middle) whilst the other dish, king prawns and truffles at $65, was overcooked, the prawns were tough and dry. Dessert was a save with the cassata being delicious.

Overall we were not impressed. We felt like it was amateur hour, the staff rushed non stop and seemed to have no idea (with one exception) and the restaurant was half full. Sloppy and most unprofessional. Most Sydney restaurants kill it and very disappointed especially with the fact its run by a top chef. One hat? You're kidding. Typical Central Coast drudge. We'll keep travelling to Sydney for a good meal.
