Wow what a fantastic experience at Big Stone last night with my wife. Didn't know anything about this place and took a chance. To be greeted at the door by a smiling happy waiter eager to make your evening a great experience is very unique in Sydney where you are mostly greeted by surly, disinterested staff.

The food was outstanding and service was equally good. Two fantastically friendly waiters who got everything right! Thanks guys! Will definitely be back!

Good food, nice outside seating on summer evening. Good knowledgeable and attentive service. Not sure about the value as prices were pretty high for what was average tapas!

Coming from Sydney all I can say is Wow what a refreshing experience. Great menu, excellent choices for adults and kids. Warm friendly service which we have become accustomed to Not getting in Sydney. Outstanding quality food at excellent prices.

I had linguini Marinara which was outstanding, seafood perfectly cooked, my wife had the carbonara, she said the best she's ever had. Kids had spaghetti meatballs, both cleaned their bowls! Almost worth a drive from Sydney for this quality, service and value, well done! We will be back!

Crazy to think we have to drive 90 minutes from Sydney to get what we expect all the time, good food, good service and good value!

We live withing a couple of hundred metres of this venue so its super convenient. We have been a number of simes since it reopened >2 years ago. The renovation is great with a spacious modern feel.

A great place for a pub lunch albeit pricey, great for a drink on the way home as its the only decent location in Belrose.

We often go on a Sat night with friends who have young kids. What a freekin nightmare. Kids run amok, there is more food on the floor than in the kitchen, unles you order at 5:30PM you most likely end up in a queue to place your order.

Food sounds impressive on the menu however is almost always disappointing. Definately over priced. Staff don't really seen to be interested in ensuring that you are happy all they seem to be interested in is pumping out average, over priced food.

If you don't have kids that need entertaining in the on site playgrounbd - avoid this place like the plague. Good for s drink butnot a meal. Forestville RSL (beleive it or not) offers better value and quality.

Great location, one of Sydneys best locations. For the price the food was Ok, a little pretentious and trying to be a Quay or similar. Quite a noisy set up so not great for a quiet romantic dinner.

Nice set up, good convenient location near the station and shops. Food was good but pricey and service was below average on a very quiet day. Would hate to see them operate if it was busy.

My wife and I had dinner at Jah Bar on Sat night. Welcoming and attentive staff, without being overwhelming. Great ambiance. Excellent food! Great evening, looking forward to booking our next visit.

What an exquisite setting for a restaurant. This is a special place for that special dinner. Being winter we couldn't take advantage of the views however, we imagined what they could be like. Food was very good, outstanding personal service, a bit pricey but it's not your average restaurant. Go there for that special evening.

A little bit of Italy in the middle of Manly. This was our first visit to this restaurant as a result of seeing the rave reviews on this website. We were not disappointed. The food was great, ambience excellent and awesome and value for money. I am personally very tired of visiting restaurants in Sydney and paying ridiculous prices for average food. This time we got great and simple food at excellent prices - the best value I have seen in Sydney. 2 entree's, 2 mains for $44! You can't beat that!

My wife and I have dined at Stella Blu a number of times over the past 3 years. The food and atmosphere has been very consistent (good) over those three years. Noticed a recent increase in the average price of our meal to about $120 for 2 entree, 2 mains and a dessert (no wine). Service is good (not excellent) however, we keep going back as the food is consistantly great!
