I ordered the "Gluttony" breakfast, thinking it'd be small though because of the price. Holy Mother of God was I wrong. Massive portion size, but the food was quite good. Next time I'd prefer a little less green and a little more egg, but at the price I can't complain too much. Bacon was cooked perfectly.

Had a lunch here (chicken risotto) which was excellent. Breakfast was another story - bacon was overcooked and extra tough, scrambled eggs had carbon residue all over them, juice was just...bleh. Still think the lunch made up for the average breakfast, would recommend it for that part of the menu.

I was here just the other day for a Friday lunch. Service was fine, prices fine, the food was the interesting part: tuna risotto with parmesan, spinach, baby tomatoes and kalamata olives? I had to try it, as I love all. Together, though, the abundance of kalamatas just made it incredibly salty, so I ended up eating around them, which worked out fine. Good if not great cafe. Free wi-fi a nice touch for the business luncher.

I must've had the place on a good night because I'd definitely recommend the place to people. My friend and I started off with the scallops entree, which featured some quite small scallops that had a peculiar flavor, but the black pudding tempura was an incredibly inspired and great tasting addition.

My main was the Bouillabaisse, which generally has a much more watery base than this one had, but that was not a major complaint. Fish was cooked perfectly, a nice assortment and quantity of prawns and mussels, though the clams were bleh.

Dessert was a brownie topped with pistachio ice cream and cherries/cherry sauce. Absolutely divine, the best part of the meal. I'd go back there again for that dish alone.

Ambience is good, hard to beat the location on southbank. Service was good if a bit on the slow side, but to be fair it is a French restaurant, so it's to be expected. Prices were a bit dear, but again, you're paying for location, not necessarily the food or service. A solid restaurant, will be back again at some point.

Outstanding curries, good service and decent decor. Points deducted for the roti w/chickpeas. The roti was great, chickpeas, bleh. My mixed seafood curry was great, the fish really stood out - mussels and prawns were ok but not great. Other dishes we had were quite nice. Will be returning.

Bit surprised about the comments on the serivce here, as I thought that it was their saving grace. I took my ex here for her birthday and they were attentive (a little slow but it was a busy friday night), and they comped a glass of champagne with strawberries, an excellent touch. The food though, at least my dish (some gray blob thing of chicken or fish I can't remember) wasn't good or filling. But generally, the place was decent. I'd consider a return trip if the food gets better.

A dive pizza place near Swinburne, this place makes THE BEST New York style pizza I've had in Melbourne so far - and cheap too! $10 for a large - that's a great deal. The breakfast pizza was fantastic - just the right amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings. And finally, a place that knows how to make a good crust! You've earned my loyalty guys!

Insanely cheap considering the size of the portions and quality of the food. Points deducted for serving me cut up hot dog and calling it sausage but it was still good.

Beautiful fruit salad for breakfast - some of the freshest fruit I've ever eaten. Pasta I had wasn't bad either, but $18 for a chicken carbonara? Even on Chapel St. that's pricey.

Very expensive, but you're paying for imported foods and high rents (chapel st, doncaster shoppingtown). Food is top notch though - never had a bad meal there yet.
