We have eaten at this restaurant 7 times in the past 6 months since it opened in Broadbeach, and we adore it.

We are usually pretty predictable in terms of what types of foods we order at restaurants when we dine out, but at Kathmandu, we have tried a different meal each time.

Not a single meal we have tried has been anything short of delicious.

Also, for someone who has trouble with hot & spicy foods, this place is fantastic. There are options of mild, medium or hot, and the mild actually IS completely mild. For anyone sensitive to heat and spice, this is perfect. I actually tend to go for the medium option now, which is pretty impressive for me!

The service is just absolutely faultless. The staff are friendly but not oppressive or pushy. They are always there when you need them, or even before you realise you need them! The service is quick and courteous. A total joy to experience.

The ambience is lovely, being in Broadbeach in one of the main restaurant strips. You can dine indoors or on the street's al fresco area.

They have a special deal of 40% off your bill if you eat before 6.30pm, which we always take advantage of, being early birds generally. This makes the meals amazing value. The prices are good already, but 40% off is just spectacular.

We will always come back to Kathmandu. It is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to.
