Brilliant Coffee! Good quality food and great staff. Would recommend this Cafe to anyone wanting a good cup of freshly roasted coffee.

Won't be going back in a hurry! Service was appalling! Food was cold and portions were tiny. My partner and I ordered a lamb as well as the chicken curry with roti and the soft shell crab. Both the chicken and lamb curry consisted of a total of 3 cubes of meat in each meal. Plenty of roti bread but 3 pieces of meat in a curry is a joke. The soft shell crab was extremely cold. When we approached the male Asian waiter to ask him if he could warm the crab up, even if it is in the microwave he became extremely annoyed and began to raise his voice, whilst pointing and saying' take to counter, take to counter'.

We were really taken back by his attitude. Our dish was finally warmed up by being fried all over again in oil. Not good. At this stage I didn't want to be in the restaurant for another minute. I am really disappointed with Makan's and I don't think I will be returning. No deserves to be spoken to in the manner in which we did. Not even the food could make up for the bad service.
