Being greek myself I thought I might try out the only greek place I haven't been yet, what a disappointment!

I ordered the meat platter (being $60 for 2) and the seafood platter (being $70 for 2) and I was so shocked! The seafood platter was all deepfried, with soggy chips! and a few calamari rings! the meat platter (which was served on the same dish?) was 5 tiny lamb cutlets! the greek salad wasn't too bad, but way too much dressing and salt! this is not how you cook/serve Greek food! I was so disappointed!

Plus the waitresses need to stop hanging around and staring at the table for when you finish with a dish so they can take it away asap! Very bad!

One of the best italian places in Canberra. Yeah its loud and can get busy, but the food makes up for it! Unlike the previous reviews the food that was served to me was amazing! The bread, anchovies, olives, entree's mains, everything was amazing! Will definitely go there again!

I used to love going to Lanyon cafe when the old owner was running it, since the new owner has taken over a lot has changed, my fav was the anti-pasto, when I asked for it they said they don't have it anymore and have instead a "grazing plate" they are trying to be less italian? I was told by the waiter. If you wanted to be less italian take all the italian things off and leave the damper! Don't cows graze anyways? Not people!
