We have bought takeaway from here a couple of times and the food is consistently fresh, delicious and piping hot. Love the butter chicken and the samosas. Highly recommend. Two thumbs up!

We went to Darcy's last night for my husband's birthday and were delighted by the quality of the food and the friendly service. It is such a nice change to go to a restaurant that is not caught up with trying to be 'trendy'.

My husband and his mum had the snails for an entree and they were so good they didn't stop until they had mopped up every last drop of sauce. I opted for the angel hair pasta with mushrooms and black truffles which was delicious and light. The eye fillet of beef with Dianne sauce and lamb rack mains were perfectly cooked.

If you are in the mood for good quality, traditional Italian food in a relaxing setting, Darcy's is the place for you.

Two thumbs up! Coffee was great as are the herbal tea infusions served in old fashioned china cups and a mini hourglass to time the brew to perfection. Food is fabulous and a refreshing change from the usual brunch fare.

Innovative, delicious food let down by poor service. Our group chose to dine a la carte. We waited half an hour for the staff to provide us with menus. We then waited for over an hour after ordering before inquiring about the whereabouts of our entrees. They arrived immediately. Another lengthy wait was endured between entree and main where we again had to ask waitstaff about our food. We didn't stick around for dessert. Food was great but we were so put off by the lazy service we won't be back.

We attended Summit on a Sunday evening to celebrate our anniversary. As expected, the view is spectacular. We were surprised and disappointed, however, by the slow and disinterested service we received from the staff. It took 20 minutes from receiving the menus for someone to ask us if we would like a drink.

A further 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive with the complimentary bread. Our waiter was unable to offer us any assistance with selecting a wine which surprised us in a fine dining establishment. The food was beautifully presented but the small servings lacked spark in the flavour department. The view saved the overall experience for us but we expected more from a pricey fine dining restaurant.

Drawn by the hype and the spectacular location, we dined at Aria prior to attending a show at the Opera House. We were seated comfortably at a table with an excellent view of the Bridge and the Opera House. The wait staff were very professional, helpful and friendly.

The food was a big disappointment. I ordered the oysters for entree which were served with a "vichyssoise mousse" which tasted like French onion dip and completely overpowered the flavour of the oysters. The mushroom sauce on the steak main was so salty I could barely finish my meal. My partner had a more pleasant experience with the Hapuka fish main but commented that it was nothing spectacular.

Despite the excellent service it was overall a very disappointing experience. I won't be going back.
