This restaurant sets a high standard for thai food and for service. Service is so professional it makes me feel like royality! Food is always served promptly, hot and delicious! Price is above average but the experience is well worth it. Last time we visited the waitress gave us toenail clippers (quite a bizarre gift, but a small gesture like that was genuine and so cute!).

I take friends + family there to impress the pants off them. Once had a romantic dinner, and I had candles placed on the table (as requested) and we stuffed ourselves stupid and drank for just under $90. Love love love love!

First visit, had a beef curry (cannot remember which one) and it was delicious! Flavoursome, filling and tasty! Second visit I experienced hokkien noodles, which was different with a fried egg served on top, the noodles were a tad chewy and were drenched with a thick brown sauce, too salty which made my tongue numb! Ah! Roti was delicious both times, although I was left a bit scarred from my second visit, I will return for the curries.

I will admit I was hesitant to try this place due to the run down internal look of the shop, but I bit the bullet 5 months ago and I'm back nearly 5 times a week for their delicious prawn laksa. Its all I've tried and I can't bring myself to order anything else! Staff friendly and ordering is all done at the front table.

I have only ever had dinner here, but always enjoyed it. My soup was filling and delicious, my frappe was sweet and they have this amazing treat called avocado smoothie! but be warned, this actually fits more into the dessert menu as it is topped with whipped cream and honey! The only down side was with the tomato bruschetta, it came topped with icy cold tomatoes and onions! Otherwise very good, can't wait to bring my friends here!

I frequent here quite often (ever since the renovation), the place is well polished and has a grunge feel to it, love that! Have had many drinks after work here, brekkie and lunch (lunch-only once). Love it, good variety and priced fairly. Staff are friendly and a convenient spot in newtown to meet up with friends.

Has a 'welcome to my house' kind of feel about it, very cosy and spacious. Staff friendly, down to earth and polite. Some items pricier than they should be but worth it. Try the delicious apple + cinnamon smoothie. Your tastebuds will thank you! (This is The kind of place you take the inlaws to for brekkie to impress them)

Arrived a busy weeknight, people were swarming the place, which is a good sign.
Supreme pizza was very tasty, although when we got to the end 3 pieces it was fairly soggy (due to the massive amounts of toppings) which was disappointing but overall, will go again.

A turn off was all the tables were dirty when we arrived and were when we left, maybe the drivers waiting could clear as they waited for their next orders but otherwise, good job guys! (A plus is the vegan and gluten free choices, which I can imagine, would appeal to those with those dietary requirements.)

This place just makes such great pizzas (cheese is 'real', the pizza dough is crusty and thin, fresh toppings), the desserts are mouth-watering good (try the coconut gelato) and the staff are friendly and very laid back. The place is very comfortable and it feels very cosy. Totally totally totally a must! Keep up the good work!

Agreed that this shop is overrated/over hyped, service is a bit slack and style of the shop is not really comfortable, it feels too sterile. But at the end of the day its takeaway fish n chips, but the owners seem deadset on promoting their shop as 'gourmet' which, of course attracts criticism.

Last time we ate there the calamari rings were rubbery and the chips had that 'unchanged oil' taste, which resulted in tummy aches. I have had good seafood there before so I'm assuming it was a 'bad day'. The whole eftpos situation is annoying, and I hope they install one asap. Overall, worth a try.

In regards to the laksa, I have had better and worse. Their laksa is a weird combination of being both watery and creamy, and its does not contain enough chilli. Its sort of unfair to judge service as you order and pay at the counter then collect your buzzer and wait for your food, but I was asked 'how are you today' so that was a nice touch.
