Went for breakfast on a Sat morning. Food was average with nothing more than homemade breakfast and service was poor. Tables and chairs are not clean, generally not that pleasant. Coffee not that great either. Not value for money. Will not go back.

Food was good. Its not really french, its just modern cursine. Service was good. We had the degustation menu. It is mainly seafood but well balance. If there are any complaints, then it will be the serving portion. For any big eaters, you may want to ask them for more bread. But overall, venue is nice, service and food are both good.

Food was good and menu was extensive with plenty of choice. Great place for brunch. Service was a little poor mainly because it was so busy during lunch time. Waitress simply get your order and once you are served they basically won't lay eyes on you.
Its a little pricey but it does give you value for money. I order an egg benedict it is $18 but it had 3 eggs and plenty of salmon. Will go back again not because of the service but to try other things on their menu.

Went for lunch. Coffee is good. Service was fine but the staff did not warn us about the sides will not be included in the voucher (that's not any issue, happy to pay the difference).
Atmostphere is average, music is a little over on the loud side and newspaper seemed to be torn slip into missing multi-section paper. I ordered a scramble egg with bacon on the side and a potato dish which turns out nothing more than wedges with bits of salad. For some reason the chef has a liking of coriander and almost every dish on the menu had it on. Its a great herb but I will use it only as one of the ingredient and not the main one.
The eggs ok, too much milk gone into it that took the organic egg taste away, I can only taste some strong butter and milk. And potato dish is ok but nothing impressive.
Overall if you are around the area (more like the street) its a fair cafe to go for a coffee or lunch but it does not have enough to attract customer to go on purpose. There are plenty of competition on king st and even just 1 street away from this one.

Been there a few times for dinner. Food is always good, a little oily but it is expected for shanghai food. The service is good but venue is lacking the air conditioning, infact there is none. The air-con are installed but never turned on, not sure why. Apart from that everything is fine.

Its a place I will naturally think of if I am looking for a good meal with good service. The dishes are always consistent with high standard. The service is great and the boss will give good advice on which ingredients are fresh and the seafood are good. It has been on renovation for a while and can't wait for it to re-open.
Response from Management:
Thank you and sorry to keep you waiting. We will be back on deck soon. Love you - all our friendly staff :)

Went there for lunch on Sat afternoon. Ordered a pizza and a grilled chicken salad, a coffee and a berry smoothy. The food took 30 minutes to arrive, long wait for just salad and pizza, specially I can see all tables are already eating. The pizza was good but the salad was tasteless. Although the salad presentation was good, the chicken was dry like paper, the rocket was just rocket with no taste of the dressing.
All ingredients are just been dump on to the plate and had no harmony in it. The berry smoothy had a weird taste, though it had real berries in it but it also had some cheap syrup making the drink taste like cough syrup. Coffee is fair if you like a strong one.
The bill took another 30 minutes and I had to walk up to the counter only to realise the bill was acutally sitting on the bench top waiting for someone to bring it over. Bad service. Will not go back again.

Had dinners on 2 separate occasions and each time the service were good, food was good, wine was good, service was great. Its everything a fine dine should be and of course it comes with a price tag but it does give the value for what you pay!

Went there over christmas period for lunch with friends of a table of 17 with kids. The food takes a long time to come. The kids meals are the same size (if not bigger) than the adult serving size. The chips are all over cooked (that's including the next table from where I can see). Food in general is average. I had the steak and it was over cooked. The restaurant was busy but kitchen doesn't seem to care on the number of people, the open kitchen does not help in telling us that they are trying their best to quickly serve the food. All of chefs are just so slow. The only positive comment I can make was the waitress service was good and keep topping our water up.
