Went there with the intention of dining in, but the prices put us off (no full table service either) so we settled for takeaway which was less than half the price for similar meals. There are plenty of nice shaded spots beside the water to spread a picnic rug and enjoy the same view while the kids play.

The pizza was delicious and the burgers were ok. The burger buns were Huge and not toasted, and with the fillings a little on the thin side, the amount of bread was overpowering.

Still a nice spot to enjoy ok food.

Terrible... Service reminded me of Fawlty Towers, and the food was very ordinary. All the seafood was frozen and not fresh. The seafood tasting platter was more like a rubber thong tasting platter. Fish and squid were both rubbery, very bland, and virtually inedible.

Went there for lunch and the wait staff were pleasant but that is as good as it got. The floors were filthy and the food was horrible. We ordered two burgers and a couple of kid's meals. The burgers were lifeless and bland with not much filling at all, basically $16.50 for a bread roll and tasteless chips. Never again!

Do not eat here! Terrible bland and overpriced food. A very limited menu and the food is so inconsistent you don't know what you will get.

Love this place, we've had several functions here and get take away on a regular basis. Co-owner and host Joe is always super friendly and goes out of his way to look after us. Food is consistent and tasty.

Horrible! Staff can hardly speak a word of english which makes it very difficult to ask any questions. After asking for wine glasses four times and waiting 10 minutes we were presented with champagne glasses. I asked which dish was the spiciest and I was told they all are when clearly on the menu none of them have chilli. I then asked for fresh chilli in my dish and was given a small bowl of chilli dipping sauce, and the food itself was overpriced and lifeless. They loaded the bowl with cheap bean sprouts so they could cut back on the other ingredients. No way will I ever step foot in there again!

I have been frequenting this venue for a number of years and was extremely happy with everything up until a couple of months ago. For some reason they lost all their hired wait staff at once which left just the family to run the place. They won't hire new staff and now open their doors at 10:00 am and frequently refuse to serve breakfast because they are short staffed. The coffee used to be the best in Sydney, but they have now switched from using good quality milk to "No Frills" milk, and the coffee has suffered.

The staff and family used to be cheerful and polite but ever since they were told that their building may make way for a light rail station they have become grumpy and very disinterested in patrons. They are too busy organising petitions and posters. Get back to the basics.

A huge disappointment as this used to be a great place.

We've eaten here many times (both dine in and takeaway), and the food has always been tasty and fresh.

The service has always been hit and miss. Some days we've dined in with the whole family, and the wait staff have been very helpful, pleasant and even entertained the kids. Then to the other extreme, you turn up to collect your takeaway order only to find one waitress servicing the whole restaurant, two families waiting to be seated and three people waiting to collect takeaway orders.

After watching the poor waitress run around the room for 30 minutes, she finally comes to the front desk to sort out takeaway orders. They really need to sort out their service, hire a few extra competent staff to complement the good food they produce.

Still with the total lack of decent thai on the northern beaches, I'm happy to put up with the lackluster service at Singha.
