2 previous visits left great memories of Ormeggio. Great food, wine and vista. So brought some friends along. Beautiful day and views but Allesandro must have been away. The pasta and risotto were not just al dente but had hard uncooked centers. Hope this was just a blue moon and Alessandro not distracted by new ventures.

Our first visit based on eatability recommendations. Our group of five shared in order to taste the selections. The seafood soup in a pot was the standout with perfect seasoning, seafood very generous and not overcooked. Gnocchi was very good. The squid ink pasta had less uniform reactions but still from good to great. Pizza certainly above average. The surrounding area is also very interesting. Great Italian atmosphere and delightful pattisiere just across the street make for a enjoyable total experience.

Made my first visit this week. Interesting choice of usual plus some novel items e.g had a steamed squid stuffed with chicken. Good taste, service and value.

Had the 5 course dinner with my wife this week. Our first visit to Acacia. We are quite impressed. The service was excellent with Andre in personal attendance. The food was very adequate and tasty. Standouts were the very succulent braised pork belly and the poached king fish with broth. The fried prawn and open sushi were, to us, more ordinary. Overall, a great night and chef Andre (also owner and host) shows great effort and creativity in his food presentation. We'll be back.

Just discovered Fiorenzoni courtesy entertainment card. We love Italian food and Mario (hope I got his name right) delivers. We loved his pasta (almost as good as Italian celebrity chef Papa Francesco in Milan). I had the hand rolled pasta with mushroom sauce and squid and it was a refreshing new taste to me. His apple strudel pastry was so delicate. yum.

We had a great Degus at Ormeggio recently and we enjoyed the meal at Fiorenzoni almost as much. It is a small establishment and decor is simple. Suspect Mario has staff problems. We did not encountered either old or young male of last review but had pleasant young French lady but obviously green and new to the job and her strong accent made communication difficult.
