Best tapas south of the bridge! Hip, lounge atmosphere, full of beautiful people having a good time. The Tapas are $9 on a Mon or Tues, you can't beat that and a good happy hour too. A little far from the beach and the main eating strip of Anzac parade but I still come here loads. Great value, fun place.

The chef here shows great imagination and creativity with his food. Very much the trend setter not trend follower. Tapas to share are the theme here and because the dishes are inexpensive you can order quite a few. We ended up leaving satisfied though not a place to pig out. Good place to bring a date or just hang with friends. Well impressed!

Really great place serving the best tapas north of the bridge. A cool combo of Spanish and French dishes using best quality ingredients. We had the white anchovies and Gambas a la plancha which were awesome. The average price for 2 courses is $25 which makes this great place reasonably priced.

Even has a BYO, which shows it's serious about wanting people to try their great food! They should move this restaurant closer to coast and I'd be there daily.

Really great cafe serving great coffee. This place has an awesome philosophy which translates through to the food. Great healthy options without the boring bits.

I like this curry house and have been a few times. Went for the banquet this time. Basil chicken tikka, beetroot vada and Lamb cutlets were served as entrees and were great. The mains we had were chicken tikka sharabi, duck karuval and kadhai paneer and pistachio lamb, all delicious. Left feeling very full and happy with the service. Reasonable considering the area.

Great interesting menu that changes. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The Saigon prawn cakes are up there, along with the crackling pork belly. A great unpretentious place.

A really great place for coffee and breaky. They have some all time classics like bubble and squeak which is very popular. Some good healthy options too. The atmosphere and Music is great. One of the better cafes around.

Came here and really enjoyed the food. The staff are genuinely friendly and the owner really seems to care about the customer's experience at Rock Mortar. The perfect host.

Came feeling very hungry and was impressed with the food and generous portion size. The menu isn't hugely exciting but the coffee and service is great.

We went for the 3 courses at $33 and really enjoyed the food. The service was good, the servings generous and soul satisfing . Good for Sunday lunch with your buddies.
