I have been to this restaurant twice, and have enjoyed the food both times. They have a special lunch set that I love, and will go back everytime I feel like some Indian food. The curries have enough spices to whet my appetite. I've noticed that some customers are also regulars, which is testament to the good food there.

My intended lunch venue was Lil Kitch on Puckle, but the place was packed! Walking down towards Mt Alexander, I found Degani. Ordered Moroccan Lamb with Sweet Potatos, Couscous and Salad. There were 2 skewers of lamb dipped in a bowl of tomato based sauce. Couscous and salad were on the side of the plate. Everything was delicious. Portions were a good size, and good value for money.

The coffee was not that good, maybe cos it was made by an inexperienced barista. The manager offered to change the coffee after looking at my expression (he knew I knew the long mac was not how it was supposed to be), but I declined as I could just scoop out the excess milk foam. Overall, the restaurant was cozy, and it would be a good place to have a decent meal.

Went for yum-cha on Monday (Anzac Hol). The place was crowded, but my cousins managed to get a booking for 1.15 pm. Seems they have 2 sessions, 1 at 11 am and another at 1.15 pm. The steamed stuff was quite good, but was disappointed in one thing. Was given shumai which didn't taste like it, was more like a fish ball with some shrimp. The deep fried tentacles was very tasty, but wished they were hot and crispy instead of cold and a bit soggy.

The egg tarts were quite good. Loved their braised beef brisket, tender and tasty. Did not have a chance to taste the charsiew pau, beancurd dessert and white bait, but will go back. Decent restaurant and I liked that they did not crowd the tables like Sharks Fin House.

This is my favourite restaurant to go when I'm in Chadstone. I've eaten their Risotto Funghi and pumpkin pizza. Delicious. Love the pizza. Had Iced coffee on both occasions, very good. Definitely worth a try. It's very popular, and very busy during the weekends.

Finally tried the yum-cha here. It's a Friday, so the menu was limited. It is very tasty (so tasty, I was thirsty within 10 minutes of walking out the shop). This means generous use of MSG. However, I would return as I love the pork chop rice there. It's a good restaurant to go to for its service, at least, it's better than some other chinese restaurants.

I have no complaints on ambience as I ordered delivery. Ordered BBQ Chicken pizza and Seafood Risotto. Pizza base was not as crispy as Papa Gino's but, the taste was great. Would have preferred more generous topping for the price. And final tip, never order takeaway risotto. The rice will be sticky and soft because of the heat-retention in the plastic container. Other than that, it tasted good.

I had seafood risotto and it was awesome! The portion was big, and I could not finish. Most staff are helpful. It's really cosy and perfect for drinks with friends.

I think the food here is typical of a Thai hawker stall. No fuss, straight-forward, home-cooked. There, you have it. The duck green curry was nice. The chilli fish was not what we'd expect, it's more like a three-taste sauce on deep fried fish. (3-taste = sweet, sour, spicy).

I still like this place for yum cha. It's still popular, though not as much anymore, maybe cos there are other good yum cha places now. The place is noisy, tables were too close to each other, but still, it was comfortable cos of the chairs and proper table-cloths. Service sucks here, but who cares! We're supposed to relax and have our yum-cha slowly anyway.

The roast duck and roast pork was awesome! This will not be my last visit, although I find the place a bit crowded. The tables and chairs were too close to each other. Service was ok for a chinese restaurant, but at least, they didn't show sour faces. Will go back to try other dishes like the soft shell crab, lobster, yumm.
