Beautiful ambience in the restaurant. Portions are generous and the staff are very nice. Generous with the rice and the food was spot on.

Owner came over and asked us how the meal was. Made the effort to ask how we were and if everything was ok. Drinks topped up and very enjoyable night. This is a great place to go when you just want to eat locally in the hills. Parking is easy, and desserts are great.

Great variety on the menu. Had a real feast for friday lunch. The eggplant is the one standout dish. Portions are generous and the waitstaff are very alert, topping up water and clearing empty plates. Great food, great company. Can't complain.

Had birthday dinner at La Tapa Guapa last night. It was great. We were a party of 17 and there was plenty of food. 3 course banquet for $35 each and we had jugs of sangria and coke. "La Tapa Guapa" The pretty tapas. Fantastic night out. Def recommend. Credit to the chef and the wait staff for taking care of us.

Fair prices for fairly big servings. Good place to grab a nice burger before running to the cinemas to catch a movie. Service is prompt and polite. Overall a good place to eat if in the mood for a good burger in a booth.

Beautiful decor @ this venue. Yum Cha is better than others. Their congee is one of the best I've had. As per all Yum Cha places, gotta get in early or try to book ahead.

Book ahead for Yum Cha. Otherwise it just gets too complicated. Get the waitresses to lift the steamer lids and see what they have to serve. I'm always holding out for the calamari and the mango pancakes. Overall standard Yum Cha and I can eat as much as I want with a group of people and it's always about $20 per head.

Absolutely beautiful Pub decor. Rich coloured walls, cute little garden courtyards, and great amenities. Had dinner at the bistro downstairs and burger came out promptly and all was fine. Lingered longer and chilled out watching the sports on tv. It's a bit of a hike from North Sydney train station, but oohhh so worth it!

Place is definitely a buzzing on friday and saturday nights. However, like to go for mid week specials and catch up with mates. Kitchen usually brings out the usuals that are sometimes great, sometimes not. Overall the social element of this place is what brings me back each time.

Food is great. There is no doubt about that. Service on the other hand is off putting at times. Prices are steep and there's always queues. A nice enough place, but definitely not my first choice for dinner in crows nest on a busy night.

Drinks are pretty dear, but this place is crazy at times on a saturday night. No booking? not much chance of getting a table. Portions are big and generous. Line snakes down the aisle as you wait to place your order. But overall, a pleasant enough place for a steak, chips and salad than any other place.
