Food was cheap, and tasted good. Had takeaway so not sure if it would have tasted better in house. Also, couldn't really make a comment about the ambience as I sat and waited for a meal to take home. Service was excellent.

Over the years, the food has remained great. However, this is let down by the awful service you are guaranteed in this place. If you have a couple of hours to spare for a meal, this is an ideal venue, however, if you only have an hour to spare for lunch, then definitely steer clear.

An Asian restaurant full of Asians is usually a good sign. For reasonable quality food at a cheap price, you'll be hard pressed to top this one. The broth in some of the soups is great. Although self serve for the cutlery etc. I'll do this to save a few bucks. Definitely recommend. If you're looking for a more conventional restaurant atmosphere, please stay away as you will be bitterly disappointed. Plus that will make more room for me!

The service was fantastic, however, I guess it would have to be as we were the only two in the restaurant on a wednesday night. The food was good and reasonably priced.

I must admit, after reading a few of the latest reviews of this place, I was a little apprehensive when deciding to dine here. Went for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Although there seemed to be a few diners, the place was not overly full. We were escorted to a fantastic table with what seemed the best view in the house.

Thought I'd try the pork medallions. The flavours were clean with the pork actually tasting like pork. A little on the dry side, but absolutely delicious. The two mains were fantastic. The steak needed a little more sauce on the side or else more mash. It was cooked to perfection. The seafood "mare" dish was superb. It smelt fresh of the sea, and the flavours were very clean complimented by the delicious sauce.

The service was exceptional, with the waitress very attentive and friendly. Quite expensive, however great for a special night out depending on where you are seated.

Went on Friday to try out the signature Mud Crab dish. However, we changed our minds once we arrived as the menu seemed to have a lot of dishes which seemed more delectable. I tried the Sizzling Seafood combination in pepper. The calamari was like rubber. Although there was a little seafood on the hotplate, I mistook the meal for a plate of pepper coated onions as this was all there seemed to be in the meal. Service was slow...at best. I admit I didn't try the crab, but if you wish to eat here, make sure to pre-order over the phone.

The food is cheap, service at times is a bit lacking. I usually though am happy with the food. I suppose this could be largely attributed to the fact that the prices are so low!!!

We ordered the seafood platter, it was fantastic. The service seemed great as well. I marked the service down on an error from the night. I do not like oysters kilpatrick. We ordered the seafood platter on the eveing. When ordering, I asked the waiter if and how they would be serving the oysters, to which he replied they would serve them natural and kilpatrick. I asked if it would be okay to not have the kilpatrick, and instead have these ones served Mornay, he replied he would tell the chef when placing the order.

When the platter was served, the oysters were natural and kilpatrick. I pointed this out to the waiter who apologised and came back after about 10 minutes with the Oysters Mornay that I had originally ordered. It wasn't till I got home that I realised when looking at the receipt that I had been charged for their error!! I had actually been charged for an extra order of oysters mornay...this has left a very bad aftertaste. I will definitely not eat here again. Who knows how many mistakes they have made in the past and made the customer pay!!! I expected to pay as much for the meal because at the time I thought the service (where the waiter verbally accepted the restaurant error) was fantastic however, I now feel that the service is overrated and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys paying for fine dining but not for incompetence.

A friend celebrated his birthday here a few months ago. There was definitely a language barrier because the staff are surely not that rude. Food was pretty much the same old Yum Cha you would normally get anywhere. Saying that, I would be definitely willing to go again and see if I would have a different experience.
