Little ambience, minimal service and always busy but great for cheap Malaysian food. The tofu laksa with vegetables isn't too bad but lacks subtlety having rather too much coconut cream balanced by tons of chili. The delicious nasi lemak biasa is recommended. It tastes pretty much like what you get in KL and is a bargain meal for around 6 bucks!

This cafe sits on the Pacific Highway opposite Lindfield Station so is rather noisy. It lacks atmosphere and is rather cramped but that's fine for the great gelato. What can't be forgiven is the supercilious service from the casuals who were obviously destined for greater (higher?) things. In mitigation it was Sunday and they were probably being paid peanuts!

We went at lunchtime and ordered thalis which took the best part of 30 minutes to arrive despite it being fairly quiet. The service can be described as uninterested bordering on rudeness. We had to ask several times for our table to be cleaned. We also had to get our own cutlery napkins and water. The thali itself was disgusting, greasy pooris tasteless watery curries made with frozen vegetables (carrots and spinach) all topped with a soggy stale papadom. With so much choice in the area there is much better value/quality to be found elsewhere, a truly dire experience!
