Got takeaway from here and loved it. I can't wait to eat in as I hear the experience is great. Their food is beautiful, just what I want and expect from an indian restaurant, and the staff are friendly, and prices good. I would highly recommend the lamb shank dish, it's absolutely divine, and the butter chicken is an extremely tasty staple of our order.

Excellent choice for both small and large groups. We dined with 8 people, and service was prompt but not overbearing, food was well received by all over 3 courses, and the ambiance is well suited for dining. At $70 for bread starter, steak main, wine, dessert and coffee, it was excellent value. I would highly recommend the Playford.

Enjoyed our dinner here but certainly wouldn't rush back. We arrived early at 6:30pm on a Saturday night and were the only ones there. I do find it awkward when you can hear the conversations of the service staff, especially when they swear and carry on about personal things. That ruined the ambiance for me. Service was prompt, food was good but to be honest, for the prices we paid I wish I had just cooked at home. A decent local place, but nothing amazing.

This is a great restaurant! They bring out complimentary bread and homemade meatballs to start which are fantastic. The steaks are great and there is a good range. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here and will certainly be back.

Excellent food, very 'diner' style, the menu has a great range including breakfasts. Service is fast and efficient, and the manager obviously puts a lot of effort into training his young staff. Judging by the quotes and certificates on the wall, the owner knows that good service/product = lots of customers. Easy! Prices are good, $10-20pp for a meal inc drink. The only shame about this cafe is the fact that its tucked away in a shopping centre. Convenient, but it could be doing 10x more business elsewhere. I really wish there was this kind of place in the city - it would be an awesome place for a workday lunch.

I've been here for lunch with workmates a few times and always really enjoyed it. The food is delicious, a tiny bit pricey but I forget that if I enjoy the meal, and because they do counter service at lunch there is never a problem with service. All in all, a great standby restaurant!

Wouldn't recommend Outback Jacks at all. While their food is okay, both myself and my partner fell ill the next day (we had the same thing). Our waiter was efficient, but in a really rude kind of "just hurry up" way, and the meals are expensive for what they are/the quality. Our friend said the chicken and mushroom pasta was excellent though, but the bolognese was less than average. Ribs are nice and big, but the sauce is too smokey and you get sick of it easily.

It took over an hour for our meals to come out despite the fact that it was a Monday night and there were very few tables eating - I certainly wouldn't want to be there on a Saturday night! Overall just a really below average experience.

Nice food, but have bad service both times I have ordered from here, and I won't be going back again. The first time they got my order wrong and wouldn't take responsibility for it (even though it was a simple mistake that could have been fixed with a brief apology). The second time we ordered takeaway after selecting from the website menu. When we went to pick it up, she told us that the prices had just gone up and the meal ended up costing us about $12 more than anticipated. I would not recommend this place if you want decent service.

I really liked the place. All our meals were delicious, we had 2 pastas and 2 main 'meat and potatoes' type dishes. Serves were generous, and given that the food was beautiful, the value was quite good. Would like to go back and try more dishes. Service was okay, not great, but we went there when it first opened and I think the staff were just new and inexperienced. Highly recommended.

Although it struggles to beat the cosy experience taking home your local indian food, its a beautiful place to eat. The food was delicious, and presented in a more 'restaurant' style, smaller portions at higher prices but the experience and ambience makes it worth it. Would definitely go back.
