Dined here using a scoopon on Friday night. I was very cautious after reading reviews. We booked online and received a response almost immediately.

The waitress who attended to us was very pleasant and told us there was no lamb skewers for entree and no scotch fillet for main. We ordered the bruschetta and calamari salad. The bruschetta was Ok, the calamari was cooked good, but the salad was just rocket lettuce with no dressing.

For mains we had seafood risotto and snapper. The risotto was Ok, nothing to rave about, and I definitely will not have it again, I do not recommend! The snapper was 2 small fillets and they were very, very dry. Don't even try this.
For dessert we had the pannacotta which was surprisingly good. Service was quick and attentive.

Prior to leaving we noticed that people were being served lamb skewers and scotch fillet steak, I think whoever had a voucher was not offered this option. I think this is wrong, I will not ever visit this establishment ever again!

Took a stroll up to Top Ryde and decided on this restuarant. We had the seafood platter for 2 $99.00 with a free bottle of wine. First of all the seafood platter had morroccan chicken and lamb tenderloins, we requested to take these off as we were hoping only to eat seafood. They agreed. When the seafood platter came out in good time, it looked great, thats all it did 'looked great'.

The mussels, prawns, fish and calamari was all cooked together, so it seemed like they boiled it all up. The fish fillet was a bassa fillet and tasted like nothing at all. The mussels and prawns were overcooked. The fried seafood selection was Ok. The scallops were the size of a 5c coin and had the roe attached, tasted very weird. Do not even bother to try this seafood platter, I think they are only a burger joint, and nothing more.

Service was quick and attentive. When it came time to pay bill they tried to charge us for the free bottle of wine that was meant to be for free. We showed the waitress the special's menu and she reluctantly removed from bill. My tip is if you have a special please advise all your staff in advance. Needless to say I won't be back in a hurry, maybe only to try the burgers.

Dined here last night using a scoopon, 1 large pizza and a beer each, Wow what great value. The service was outstanding, the waiters were Italian and very quick and attentive (cute also). The ingredients were fresh and delicious. The pizza base was thin crispy and perfect. Traditionally baked in a wood fire oven. Excellent food, excellent service, fantastic price, will definitely be back again.

Has dinner here last week. Talal was very professional on the phone. Despite booking for 14 people only 11 turned up. Management was very good and reduced food to compensate. We only paid for whoever turned up.

The entree were great, dips were delicious and plenty to go around.
The mains were fantastic also. Service was very attentive and quick. We really enjoyed our night. $45 banquet was on the higher end of the scale but well worth it. The bellydancer was very entertaining.

The only bad point I could say was when we went to book tarot card reader we were informed we should have booked upon entry and that she was booked out for the night. We weren't informed. Few of our diners were upset but all in all a good night. I might go back mid week to try the other items on the menu.

We had dinner on Sat night, the place was very busy. We felt they had squeezed in extra tables and chairs in order to turn more covers. We had a few pizza's and barramundi to share. The pizza had no cheese at all! or maybe even 2 shards...the only good thing I could say about the pizza is the base, very thin and tasty.

The barramundi was $35.00 with no sides, seriously how can you charge $35.00 for farmed barramundi without even a side salad, but they can easily charge you for one. We didn't finish the pizza (due to it being very dry, considering there was no cheese) the barramundi was finished as it was a very small serving. We paid approx $40/head for dry pizza and a small portion of barramundi and soft drinks. I will never come back.

Had a late dinner on Friday night, we ordered the eye fillet (250g) $48.00 medium rare with bernaise sauce. The steak was perfectly cooked and could have been cut with a butter knife. The sauce was tangy and creamy exactly how a bernaise sauce should be. The side salad was great and the fries were perfect. The waitress was attentive and very quick, service was faultless. Prices are very reasonable for CBD. Needless to say we will be back.

Went for a quiet lunch on Sunday, yeah right. I agree with previous comment, out of control kids, I think the parents use this as a nanny service. Besides the screaming kids, the steaks we ordered, medium rare, were tough and very chewy. The prices charged did not warrant the meals that were served. Paid approx $25 for steak and chips, value approx half that. We couldn't wait to eat and get out. Will never go back! Many other places to eat a decent steak and half the price.

Wow, this place is a definate must go. We tried the weekend special of Persian kebab. The ambience was totally relaxing and beautiful. The service was attentive and quick. We had the family kebab platter (6 skewers of meat, plenty rice, salad, dips, bread) for $60.00 this was more than enough to feed a family of 4 or even 5.The value was excellent! The staff were perfect. I highly recommend this place, it is a must go! We had a great time we are actually planning our next visit.

We had dinner here on Sunday night 2/10, entree we had Goats curd on brioche-size of a post it note, 6 Sydney Rock Oysters with cider vinegar-OK Mediocre. For mains we both had the wagyu sirloin-very sinewy and lots of fat-they recommended the steak cooked medium, when we got ours it was rare or even blue, the inside was still cold. The lighting is very poor, if I could have seen the inside of the steak I probably would have returned to kitchen, or even trimmed off sinew/fat.

Needless to say it was very chewy and tasted like raw meat, the bernaise sauce helped mask the raw meat taste. Dessert we had the tasting plate, this was the best part of the meal, all desserts were beautiful. We had 2 drinks each, 3 course meal we paid $335.00, the service was great very attentive and quick.

We recommend only having a drink, enjoy the view then go to a real restaurant, anywhere but here. We will never return, if only to have a few drinks then head off somewhere else.

Had the 30 cm diametre beef burger meal $24.95. I agree with previous post the meat was approx 1cm deep and bread was approx 10cm. The meat lacked any flavour and tasted like manufactured meat (the type of pattie purchased frozen from supermarket). We also got the monster chicken nuggets, these were made from real chicken But tasted like fish, we could only guess they were cooked in the same oil as the fish. Needless to say they tasted terrible.

I really urge killa burger to either change the meat pattie to 'real meat' and cook the nuggets in a separate deep fryer. I don't think we will be back unless meat pattie actually tastes like meat.
