For a small, local restaurant, their food is surprisingly good quality! The food is affordable and the serving sizes are generous. As has been mentioned by others, takeaway seems to be a popular option.

I discovered this place earlier this year and I feel like this could be Sydney's best kept secret! It is a wonderful place to dine and a particularly good place to take your significant other. They serve quality food (I would recommend the french onion soup and grilled salmon), however, we did have to go elsewhere later to eat more as we weren't satisfied with the serving sizes.

King 143 is a great place to go to for a special occasion, or if you're looking for a nice quiet place to chat over a tasteful dinner.

Reading the other reviews, I feel disappointed that my experience at Macchiato didn't reflect what others have said. I have been to Macchiato a number of times over the past 2 years. I go for the woodfire pizza as they are very nice. However, I find the food overpriced and service far from friendly (paying the bill takes longer than the amount of time the food takes to arrive). I wouldn't recommend any of their other dishes, the pizza is the only standout.

I have been here twice, both on celebratory occasions and this restaurant does not disappoint. Their service is very friendly, despite having to put up with fussy big groups, yet the staff are always more than happy to help with any issues.

The food is absolutely wonderful. First time I went, I had the mango stuffed chicken breast which was delicious! Second time I tried a set menu with steak and that did not disappoint either! The only thing I would not recommend is parking behind the restaurant as the driveway is very narrow and the carpark is difficult to manoeuvre around.

One of my favourite places to eat out in the city. The food is generous and affordable. Service is excellent, we never have to wait too long to be seated or to get our meals. Would definitely recommend this place.
