The only complaint was that the host really didn't know how to be a host, holding up all your tables doesn't mean you have a table plan, end up the place was half empty because you just told everyone to go away and couldn't be bothered to telling them a rough waiting time.

Food was nice, the place was cute (but quite different to the original Victoria Room), other waitstaff was very friendly and price is fair. Might just get takeaway next time to enjoy the lovely scones at the park or something.

Had the classic fish and chips today at lunch time, was expecting a little bit more as it's flying fish and it's $14.90.

I asked the lady for aioli instead of tartare and she said it will be served, nope, didn't get it. The tartare was awful. The fish, it was soft but not because it was fresh, it was more like old fish that is starting to breakdown.

Chips, wasn't hot, was only warm. It was so dark that you could tell it's been fried a few times. I know it's at The Star and I know you do pay quite a bit of rent or sth to be there, but hey, don't damage your reputation by serving food like that.

No next time.

I love this place, it was easy to find parking and seating is ok. Could be better if there is a little more space between tables.

I usually have a salad to start and have the Chicken Liver Pate to share as a main - This is once of my favorite brunch combo. I don't usually have wine during the day, but I highly recommend having a glass of white with the Pate.

Staffs are friendly, it's very easy to get someone's attention but they are not too chatty. I highly recommend this place, I hope you will enjoy it as well!

I wasn't expecting too much as I read the menu before I went. I wasn't attracted by any of the mains, so I was only going to have an entree and a dessert. I had the steak tartare, tastes ok but had better. I had the roasted peach for dessert which I think was nice but nothing too special.

The reason why I gave such a low mark for drinks is because I had the signature Bloody Mary... sadly, it was over smoked and it taste like a sauce more than a drink.

It's a busy place so I wasn't expecting too much, but being asked 3 times in 15 minutes if we want some starters while I told the same waitress 3 times that we are still waiting for friends is just unacceptable. After we ordered, it then became very hard to get attention from the wait staffs.

Overall, with no much expectation, it still managed to disappoint me, the only thing that I think was nice are the nice chairs and it does feel like a bistro in Paris... that's all.

Very nice, trusted you guys on eatability and it's just great! The mains were better than the entrees tho. Every single item on the main dish was just very very good! It's a must try restaurant! Oh, have to mention, free parking a few metres down after 6 pm, that's another bonus.

Went on a Tuesday night and started early, started off nicely as the restaurant was still quiet but got very noisey later on as the restaurant did fill up, not expected on a Weekday night.

Most waitstaff there was nice, but one was abit rough, but in general ok, drinks where topped up at the right times, the food was introduced nicely everytime. Food, not bad but not as interesting as what I expected. Don't get me wrong, it was still nice, but just, not there yet.

Value, I reckon for $95pp for 10 course, I think it's really not bad~ Wine list was nicely priced, but the whites were better selected than the reds.

Went there on a Tuesday night with some friends, seriously, the Toko cocktails are just great, one of the best I've had. Entrees we had the beef tataki and a tuna dish, was nice but not great. Mains we had the wagu beef, duck and some sushi. To be honest, it was nothing to wave about, it was nice but the size of the dish was just way too small. It was in general a nice place but the price they are charging and the food that they are serving just doesn't balance.

I do agree with what others had commented, just abit over priced and over rated. Might go back for drinks but not dinner for sure.

This place is one of my favourites for Sunday brunch. I went there so many times and it's never been disappointing. It's a French style cafe where the place is usually quite crowded, sitting is not great but the food is just so perfect that I can't resist not going back.

The eggs benedicts are the best with the fresh brioche instead of the regular English muffins or Turkish bread. It's quite a big portion so I usually order one with a side of their yummy sausages to share between the two of us. It's a must go place if you enjoy Sunday brunches like I do!

Food was good and seating was abit tight. Overall it was ok but service was one of the worse ever. The waiter was awful, rude and unprofessional. He threw the food on to the table when the table was full. He did not tempt to move the food around to make space or didn't even give us enough time to move the plates around, he just stacked it up. If you want nice Japanese food, this place is ok but don't even expect ok service.

Thank you for the nice service, I went with some friends on a Friday night. The duck was really nice. A bit pricy but it's worth it.
