Best mushroom pizza ever. They do business until late and it's worth the walk up fitzroy street to sit and eat. Staff are ok (usually international backpackers) and their super cheese pizza is amazing. A bit more expensive than a walk-in-walk-out pizza place, but worth it, it feels expensive inside. I will share a large mushroom pizza with a friend and be plenty full. Love this place and will always come back.

I Love Spudbar. My boyfriend and I cannot get enough of spudbar, we go get 2 spuds takeaway and go and walk up the road to the botanical park and sit and eat, or a short stroll down to the beach to eat.
He always gets the Italian Stallion (which he adores) and I always get picky and mix and match everything. The guy who serves us remembers what we ordered last time and makes sure he gives me something different everytime.
Seriously a great place to get take away spuds from. Eating in is ok but the beauty is in the take away.

Food was amazing, service was great. The type of place that the waiters don't even have to write down what you order because they are too focused on giving you the best experience and they never get it wrong.
Expensive, but it's Quality. Great food and a great location. We took the card from the entertainment book and unlike some places that are a bit weird about it, they seemed even more eager to please. Have eaten here again since. Great for a romantic special occasion.

Everything about this restaurant is 'ok'. Nothing fantastic and nothing completely wrong. Just seems to be in a good enough position that it attracts enough customers. The portion sizes are pretty big but not very fulfilling. A good place when you're starving and aren't paying too much attention to the flavours.
What they lack in flavour, they make up for in portion size. Get in between lunch and dinner for the best service.

Everyone is always bragging about this place. Menu is always very limited (only a few things). The only real things saving this place are the "pay whatever you want to" attitude and the fact that it caters to vegan/vegetarian diners.
Not hugely fussed. Tiny little venues, but a nice atmosphere. Nice service, but didn't enjoy the food. Each time I've been (with friends) the menu has offered "curried vegetables" of some description.

Great food and great service. Usually served by someone with an accent of some sorts, it gives a great atmosphere. I'm a picky eater and they tailored my meal for me on a busy Sunday afternoon. Great position on the top end of acland street and well worth the stroll down the street to get there. Their pides are great and their food is always hot.

St. Kilda Grill'd sets the benchmark for the other Grill'd stores to follow. They were a company owned store that recently franchised and they have kept up the expected service and product levels. Great in summer (although very busy) and are open til late to grab a great burger. Friendly staff and a great position. Much better than a lot of the other stores.

Their late night pizzas are well worth it, because you've had a couple of drinks and are wanting some kind of food. It's great that they have the late night pizzas so that there's no need to walk through the streets to satisfy your hunger, the night doesn't need to be interrupted. Have some food between seeing some great bands.

One of Melbournes best live music venues. Don't really see the point if there isn't any music on though. It's dingy and dark and smells of spilt beer, all the time. But at night it's fun, there are a hundred different rooms to lose yourself in and it's a great place to chill out.

Great muffins and coffee. But it's called Cafe Racer for a reason. It's all about the cyclists and in the mornings on the weekends they are always packed and there's nothing but lycra clad people everywhere. They have racks to put bikes up on and it's always packed for the morning rides.
I don't ride a bike and I found myself feeling a little intimidated by all the people who do. Great later on in the day when there aren't as many cyclists around because it's less busy. Some of the menu items are too expensive, but I guess they're just trying to compete with other St.Kilda cafes. Although they are really out of the way and aren't really in a busy enough spot.
Will only go late in the afternoon when there's nobody else there.
