Excellent sushi, very imaginative menu. Located in a boring carpark, but we were serenaded by a great clarinet and didgeridoo combo. Have been back twice (each time in Byron) - "modern" Japanese menu still intriguing, very "small child" friendly.

This is an ex bowling club, with the pokies replaced by arcade games. The unretouched decor makes you think you are in for standard RSL fare, but no way. Excellent food and a great environment for our extended family gathering. Huge mezze plate, fine souvlaki annd squid followed by excellent penne boscaiola.

Calamari a bit rubbery, but steamed wontons, veg tofu and green chicken curry excellent. Slow taking the order, but served quickly thereafter. Very good value for money.

Ocean trout and cutlets were excellent, pumpkin ravioli average. The creme brulee was actually a chocolate mousse with a crust. Staff were excellent and the view wonderful.

Just had some entrees, garlic prawns, salt and pepper calamari and the bacalau (salt cod croquette). The food was very good and the service prompt with a glass of Portuguese red and an excellent coffee. We'll go back.

PS: It does suffer from being next to Perama!

We had the Casbah Banquet breakfast, 4 courses! Cereals, bacon, sausages and eggs, tagine! finished off with a pancake and ice cream. The food was very good quality especially the tagine with spicy lamb mince and the pancake (really a pan-cake, i.e not a crepe), but there was too much for our middle aged appetites.
