Started with Saganaki and Mixed Dips which although on the small side (dips) were wonderful, tasted homemade and fresh.

What followed was the seafood platter and meat platter. A wonderful selection of fresh tasty and tender meat and seafood nicely cooked and promptly served. Service was great and very attentive even at a time when the restaurant was packed during xmas festivities. Great night enjoyed by all and definitely will go back.

On arrival apart from being greeted by some very hospitable waiter staff I was very pleasantly surprised as to the atmosphere and overall dining arena, a little old school in parts yet quiet modern in others showcasing 2 huge fish tanks, very modern table and chairs.

The waiter staff attended to our needs immediately and food was delivered in perfect timing, served hot and extremely fresh in its tasting. Spring rolls were a delight and main meals were equally as enjoyable. Between courses refresher disposable towels were provided which added a nice touch.

Overall a really enjoyable meal in relaxing soundings being served by friendly, accommodating and hospitable waiter staff. Definitely a western style chinese restaurant, but hey, there's nothing wrong with that. Will definitely be back

I love this place, the service is friendly, welcoming and the cafe has a modern feel and spacious, large plasma screen down the back and a nice place to come and relax without feeling like your surrounded by people. The food has never disappointed. Cooked fresh, beautiful flavours and served hot, as for the price you definitely get value for money. I will continue to go back at least for the chicken fried rice with soy and fresh chilli is to die for.

Having dined here for a work function we arrived and I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience and modern feel of this restaurant. I felt really keen to head to the buffet and check out what was on offer, a lot by all accounts.

Food was laid on with many different options from fresh seafood to asian stir frys, fried rice, dumplings, fillet steak, chicken plenty of desserts and chocolate fountain. To my disappointment the food did not live up to its appearance, meat was tough, food not hot, barely warm and everything really lacked flavour. The fresh prawn would have been the highlight if I was forced to name one. The service from waiter staff was nothing special. Nothing here would incline me to go back.

Unfortunately, this store is like most other myer stores I have visited with no staff to serve at counters. You walk around and around the floor searching for someone to serve you. Clearly a management cost cutting exercise. I wonder how many customers they have lost because they can't find staff to serve them?
(penny wise, pound foolish).

Menu here is vast and caters for most. Breakfast selection, focaccias, fresh sandwiches, pasta, cakes (you get the idea).

Food is of good quality and always served hot and prompt with service.
Roast chicken focaccia or the lasagne are both something special. My only complaint would be the toast with breakfast never buttered, Ahhhhhh, toast without butter far too dry, yes I know we all need to be healthy but a spread of western star can't be all that bad. Many fine lunches here, I will be back.

Having dined here for lunch numerous times I have not been disappointed. The lunchtime special of $14.90 for pasta, salad and glass of wine is the way to go.
Home made lasagne was promised by the waitress of being something special and it lived up to her word, definitely home cooked, extremely tasty, served hot and a generous serve. Very nice.

The arancini rice balls served with napoli sauce also a real hit. Nice restaurant with pleasant surroundings. Will definitely be back.

I visit this cafe frequently and the highlight for me would be the home made focaccia bread (the vegetarian focaccia is a treat). Breakfast on most occasions is great and reasonably priced though recently I tried the fried eggs with potato rosti, not nice (rosti was oily and overcooked to the point of being burnt). YUK. Coffee is great and overall the food is tasty, fresh and reasonably priced.

Sitting outside on a pleasant day is the best option as the airconditioning inside is most unpleasant and Far Too Cold which doesn't make for a pleasant relaxing eating experience (unless of course you wear your douffle coat and gloves).

The owners historically ran my all time favorite restaurant Sansis in Doncaster, they have now moved to Byzantine Rosanna so I was keen to try this restaurant.

On arrival I was pleasantly surprised at the modern, contemporary and elegant dining arena, very nice. We were promptly seated, water provided and the menu specials explained by a friendly and knowledgeable waitress. After researching the easy to follow menu we decided to order the banquet $45 pp (3 courses) which proved to be well chosen. (Would have loved to have seen Lamb Cutlets on the menu as a main meal but no go).

Never mind, they come as part of the banquet meat platter. Home made dips with fresh bread lovely followed by seafood platter (king prawn and atlantic salmon wonderful) meat platter (love the cutlets) accompanied by a crisp, well presented and appetising greek salad and finished off which a selection of greek sweets/dessert and coffee.

Washing this down with a fine glass of wine from the comprehensive wine list made for a fine meal and dining experience. My trip to the bathroom was also pleasing as it was "spotless", extremely clean, hygienic and reminded me of a bathroom in a 5 star hotel.

Thanks Byzantine, I will definitely be back.

Having dined here today for lunch I was most pleasantly surprised and happy I did.
The ambience of this restaurant was great, modern yet not overdone. The wait service from chris was excellent and attentive. The salmon bruschetta was a delight as was the penne pasta, the fine bottle of sav blanc was also a hit. All taken from an extensive menu and blackboard special menu. Will definitely be back. Thoroughly enjoyed by all.
